Thank you! Trying to decide on the GoPro 10 or the insta 360x2 and I think I’m going with the insta because I have a gopro 8..awesome review! Thanks for sharing!
Guys, if you have insta 360, invest in a pair of "lens protector" to protect the lenses from scratches and to avoid breaking the lenses. And use also this rubber cap. Thats double lens protection. I did that on my insta360 one X2. Check my channel, I used insta360 on all my videos. Cheers!
I have a Gopro casey of which this 360 Camera is a perfect tool to have with the casey. I just hope they make an bigger casey so that a selfie stick can fit and mabye an Compact camera. In my casey Osmo pocket- my steady short making camera+Walk around footage Insta360-For 360 and for varied video Osmo action- Vlogg,Action, or when it rain/Snow. Batteries, accessories.
You should have bought lens guards as I did before using, simply stick on, they are not water proof guard as water did get inside lens so will try without next time 😊
haha, its more of a warning against adventure since it can go through some tough environments and it definitely is not going to help with lens protection. imagine gopros for example, they have a nice lens guard on the outside to protect, but the nature of 360 videos dont allow for such coverings, only thick lens guards that may ruin the image quality.
think about this, if the application disappears or stops working, the camera is useless , but a gopro10 is all you need for the action, it doesn't only require the application to perform, let's not forget that if you broke a lens on the insta 360 one x2 that's it
definitely requires an extra step (grabbing the frame), but since its always shooting around, theres almost no need for b-roll sometimes, depends on workflow!
Honestly Insta 360 x2 is better compare to gopro10 . I get one tried it and find it great…. It’s fun and video has a Great resolution.. nice review..👍🏼
Thats Awesome, I am also totally hooked up with insta360one x2. I bought the lens guard and have not yet installed it now I am worried after seeing your video lol .
Hi, quite a useful video. I had the go pro max and have it in for repair/warranty claim. Thinking of getting go pro 10 or Insta 360 onex2 next. I’m leaning on he Insta 360. Want to use it for ocean n hydro foiling waves, sounds like I’ll need to buy a case to be waterproof.
Hi can you run a test on this camera. To exhaust the battery recording 360 without it overheating. I think this is a design fault with every single one. Please send reply if you manage to test this. Or try without battery still overheating Thank you Les
@@albertthoughts Yeah think I may have to. All my footage is indoors. I've just managed to fill memory card with 2hr 40min footage at home with no battery inserted and a fan blowing toward it. So perhaps it needs a breeze . If you get a chance try for me in doors with a full battery and see if it packs up before battery exhausted. Mine does every time. Except for just now with fan on. I have just bought 2 fans to arrange some cooling on site. But if you test yours and it doesnt over heat then I will send it back. 5.7k at 30fps 360 is setting I use. Thanks for your feedback
I would try to go with two for peace of mind but in my experience one was definitely enough. Definitely bring a back up power bank if you decide to go with one!
I have constant issues with my One X2 disconnecting from my iPhone 12 while editing video clips. I also have errors that’s show up saying download failed. Have you experienced any of those issues? I love the camera, but it’s taking forever editing with these issues… I liked and subscribed ..
Thanks for sharing, I usually edit after downloading the whole video as that eliminates the latency issues that may arise! But downside is it takes a lot of space...
i think you have to download wifi smart switch or something like that, i don't know if you have it on iphone, but if it don't detect internet connection it may try to disconnect to search for 3G/4G/5G instead or another wifi
Yes they are not bad for social media. I think it comes down to around the same as a 12mp camera, but it does allow you to crop any way you like. I like the AI coloring that they do in the app a lot, it helps minimize the short falls of high ISOs.

how long does the battery last on the insta? and does it have replacement batterys or can u hook up a external battery like u can a go pro

should have, yeah! did you notice any degrade in quality after the lens guards were installed?
@@albertthoughts i would love to know the response too
How is you dropping it onto a rocky surface a con for the camera? That would have dinged up most cameras.

Buddy you can download the video to device and edit there

I want to use this camera for google street view, but it looks like it will be a lot of loop holes I will need to jump though.
Hmmm, not sure I could do this for my usecase. Travel vlogging requires alot of footage to be edited and I heard it's very time consuming with the x2

thanks Charles! agreed!

I'm still think what better for mount on body (hands free) since when using their accessory might lessen the Audio Quality

once you go 360, its hard to go back! which one did you end up choosing?

I haven't been able to make it overheat with my excessive use so far maybe send it in for repair

good job .... I will get one for my motovlogging and reviews ... we keep grinding till we get there.
how can I buy it from India ….????
I believe you can check it out from the official site linked in the description!
How was your experience with Insta Care getting your x2 fixed/replaced?
pretty good, it was a bit slow but they replaced it completely instead of fixing it.
I play drums and I'm looking for a good camera to record me playing, I'm new to action cameras, so ¿do you recomend this one for that purpose?
great for all angles!
Hey Albert, did you manage to upload to google street view, making a blue line,.,. I have an Insta360 one x2 it’s NOT working to upload to street view
havent tried this actually
@@albertthoughts i figured it out, all of it
Great review.. brief and concise 👍🏼👍🏼 now you gave me more reason to buy the insta360 or not.. hehehe
haha “…or not” ;) that’s good! appreciate the comment!
Thank you so.👑
Hey man nice video!! Do you think 1 battery is enough for a whole day? I'm not a professional
I would try to go with two for peace of mind but in my experience one was definitely enough. Definitely bring a back up power bank if you decide to go with one!
The best review, thanks ❤
The best review honestly ..thanks for the video
Great video, Albert. Thanks for sharing! Subscribed
connectivity is the major issue... its better for GOpro
Me pasa lo mismo, a punto de vender mi héroe 9

good review !!
Does it take good quality pictures?

Thanks for your honest answer🤟
you say the video's not sponsored by Insta yet admit its a preproduction model?
It's not a preproduction model
Listen properly, he said it was a POST production model.
I did the opposite 🤣🤣🤣
They stopped responding to help me with my defective X2. This company sucks. buy GoPro
Did you buy from a side store or from a licensed and recognized accredited store?
*cough cough* Sony 😂
You did a mistake , without watching your video.
