- Aputure has announced the Aputure Delta Pro, but it.. looks a lot like the Ecoflow Delta Pro with a different label. I'll try to explain what's probably happening here.

A missed opportunity to not equip the Aputure power bank with 48 V DC outputs.
Interesting, but would have thought Aputure would have used quieter fans or developed quieter fan curves.
The power controller (what most refer to as a ballast) also draws power. A 600D draws a maximum of 750w.
Appreciate your opinion, I was very curious when they launched this. Something to think about for the future
Shame they missed the opportunity to re-engineering that thing a bit. Throw in another inverter board with 48V outlets on top, the added height of a few centimeters could then also be used for much bigger and quiter running fans.
This product did not age well, Ecoflow just discounted heavily the Pro series for the lates Pro 3 model, and the differences in price is huge now between them,
Considering they haven’t done anything to it, and that electricians aren’t dummies, nobody is going to pay for this in particular to a large degree. Some people have bluetti, others have goal zeros. If this was silent, or had outputs for particular lights, then maybe. But everyone I’ve talked to outside of Indy guys aren’t impressed.
I think the firmware needs an update for fan speeds and functionability. I am using Delta Pro, and when connected to AC and using power saving mode priority on solar, it just lets AC power come straight thru for your equipment and makes zero fan noise. If you start using battery itself (or solar charge) even below 200W the fans blast off making quite annoying noise levels. Only downside so far that I have noticed. Delta 2 wasnt that loud with same outputs, you cant even hear it compared to delta pro.
Delta 2 is also only half the power output so of course it's going to make less noise
@@AllTheBeef But also Delta Pro handles same amount of current with much less effort.. So.. Shouldnt be a big deal to be less noisy.
Good video, thanks! That said, would liked to have seen a bullet points list that showed the specific differences between the units.
Do you know if you can use a xt60 parallel connector y splitter to bring in solar power from two stand alone arrays?
yes, If they are configured to have the same voltage, that would be fine.
You said a 7200w combined power with a light called a what? i heard "well pump"? do you mean the device everyone is familiar with by chance?
very cool video. These generators are really neat for real life applications not just filmmaking. I think I can justify this to my significant other based on that now haha
Yeah like a 1hp or 1.5hp well pump to get water from the ground. That size has about a 5kw starting voltage, which 2 delta pros could handle.
