Connection issues. After a couple of months, you have to turn ignition on and switch off to have them turn off. Other than that, they're cool
I’ve had the Anzo switchbacks for 7 years now. Only had to switch out the tiny turn signal bulb on one side. Grabbed one out of the stock headlights. The crimps that come with the switch backs aren’t sharp enough to make contact with stock wires. So I recommend stopping some of the stock turn signal wire when installing.

I looked at the Morimoto but I am glad that I went with the Alpharex Nova Midnight Edition. I love the start up sequence more than the Morimoto’s and they are just as bright as Gen 2 XB
Do the Alpharex have full DRLs?
@@i3oosted if you are referring to looks they do have full DRL but the design is similar to the Anzo

Yeahhhhh buddy! Here we go! “This lil light 💡 O mine I’m gonna let it shine ✨! Lol. Man I get a kick out of you enjoying your truck. I do the same thing. My neighbors across the street from my house really appreciate when I turn off my driving lights and only have the park lights on when I pull out of my driveway due to the brightness. My neighbors are a little on the older side so.. lol. I have factory LEDs and they are plenty bright but when I hit them with that light bar every so often just to let them know who’s the boss… BOY O BOY! Lol.

The lighting on these gen 2 is perfect!!!! You don't even need fogs. I was going to suggest the diode dynamics Max's..that's what I got to supplement my hybrids.

Man, those look so good on Red. I’m super jealous. I know Morimoto makes a more affordable version, but they don’t have the startup sequence or sequential turn signal. I wasn’t to sure about the 4 led projectors on the ones you have, when I first saw them, but they kinda grew on me. When I get mine, I’m getting the same ones you have. I saw someone asking about the Morimoto fogs, I wouldn’t bother. I’ve got the 56 dollar version from Amazon on my truck, had them for a year now and they are brighter than my stock headlights by quite a bit, even on high beam. They haven’t faded or cracked or gotten moisture inside. I’d definitely recommend them.

@@KickinItWithQ , meant to ask you, let me know what you think about those at night. I drove a new Nissan Titan Pro 4X awhile back, for about 2 weeks. It had factory LED lights that were super bright. Only down side was when I was in an area at night with no ambient light from street lights or anything. The headlights were so bright that you couldn’t see anything beyond the headlight beam, just looked like a black wall. Took some getting used to.

Put the same headlights on my 16 XLT this past fall and absolutely love em. Only thing is with the 4 inch lift I have the oem fogs do nothing so I went to the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights. I aimed them down just as much as they can go and boy with the headlights and fogs they actually throw light where its needed so awesome. The fogs are super easy to install. The morimoto fogs 4 bangers, just too much coin for me but I am super happy with the Diode dynamics.
I agree the Morimoto headlights are crazy expensive but glad you had luck with the diode Dynamics

FORSCAN is super easy dude. I was so intimidated at first but once you realize how easy it is you’ll start changing so much stuff. And lots of great video content can be made with your FORSCAN mods too 👍 love the look with those new eyes bro. Keep up the good content

I installed the Anzos after your install video and right away I regretted them. The bulbs they came with were literally useless. I had to spend another $300 trying to get the right bulbs for them and had to supplement with a led bar. Then, one of the planks went dead shortly after installation. I realized I should have paid a little more and rather gone for the Morimotos or Alpharex.
I have decided to go with the Alpharex on my Gen 2 Raptor. They seem to beat the Morimotos with just a tad more extra brightness.
Sorry you had bad luck with the Anzo man. But I’m glad you now got some new alpha rexes those are nice as well
Hey Q. Installed the lights. ( talked with you earlier) Still working out the bugs on my 2016. Drls will not light up when driving or start up sequence happens and the blinkers hyper flash now. At night the lights work. Other than that they look great! Reached out to morimoto for suggestions since I did have factory LED headlights. Seems like some trucks do have issue I understand. Bummer hopefully I can get this fixed . Makes the tuck look mean though…..:)

Abit off topic brother, Just curious what type of rotors and brake pads you using. I found with my lift and heavier tires the front discs were starting to warp so I was getting a little shake in the steering wheel because they were not balanced.
I currently have stock breaks and rotors I’ve only had to replace my rear brakes and forward just put some OEM ones on there. Definitely check to see if your tires are balanced properly I rotate and balance miles every 3000 miles.
That driver side is supposed to be stepped down, however you can see the 2 sides aren't lined up with each other. I'd have the shop you had install them adjust them a bit. They look great tho. On my wish list for sure.

Did you have to trim the bottom of your bumper so the tires don't rub I have a 15 f150 6 inch lift 37x20x12.50 an the bottom of the Conor bumper rubs a bit nice lights have them in mine

The DRL LED outter beam is automatic.

I have not adjusted them yet but it looks like the shop may have done it for me

Not being able to replace the bulb itself is a bad thing now when the low beams go out you have to replace the entire housing. Personally I would have stuck with ones similar to the ones you already had maybe a different brand.
Yes that definitely is a concern for sure I do agree. Hopefully it will be covered under warranty if that arises. But you still have to pay the shop to do it or replace it yourself

Definitely make sure you have your lights on auto my buddy had an issue and I do not remember what he did to fix it

Looks like they have a small tint on them and makes red look mean which is totally awesome .Love the light output. I will have to look into those. I have factory LEDs on my lariat , but these seem really bright.
