    Bhraminy blind snake comes to my home very often.3 days back I got itching at my neck back. Found allergies around the neck. I suspected of something would hav entered my dress and checked. I saw bhraminy blind snake on the floor. I don't know whether this bit me or not. Went to the hospital and got avil and dexa injected. After few mins everything was ok. Can I have non veg? should I skip any food items?. Pls do reply

      Brahmini Blind snakes are usually harmless. You don't need to take any medicine. It's mouth is too small to bite a human.

    Once after finding them in garden, so curious about it. Can we raise them? Not sure how to care for it.

    • @dr.maanojssnakepedia5456
      @dr.maanojssnakepedia5456  2 года назад

      Catching snakes and raising them is against law. They are protected under wildlife protection act. It's a punishable offence.
      Better try to enjoy by seeing them in their natural habitat.

    Is this right these creatures don't require mating to reproduce

    • @dr.maanojssnakepedia5456
      @dr.maanojssnakepedia5456  Год назад

      Some blind snake species are believed to be having asexual mode of reproduction (parthenogenesis).

    Namaste Dr ji. Today my 2 yrs old baby when she was playing she stepped on to this snake. My friend told that if it's been touched that part gets rotten. Is this true sir ?please answer. Am very scared

      @dr.n.smaanoj6376 3 года назад +1

      No need to worry, it is totally a harmless snake, nothing will happen if we touch it. There is no snake in the world which rotten your skin with mere touch.
      In case,If it is an untreated venomous snakebite, there are chances for tissue damage at the bite site.

      These are totally harmless snakes. They use moist soil/ places to hide themselves in house like water drainage area, bathrooms, sinks etc.
      It's good to clean up the place regularly.
