I wish most people would think in this way. So many Germans feel ashamed to be German because of what happened but they're not responsible for what happened to that poor man. Just as Americans are not responsible for things that happened a long time ago some of it was good and some of it wasn't

I don't know how long you've been studying the Bible but I've been studying it for the last 20 years. Every version you read it all says the same thing. Christ died on a cross because he claimed to be God that's why the Jews crucified him.
