😊 I wish I started filming when I 1st started blasting as I've done some wired projects (once blasted a tree inside someone's house that was made to be the stairs it was awesome) I've done all sorts of jobs you name it I've blasted it. Nuclear bunker to lighthouses 😎 so random I love it haha
Top notch again ❤, have you ever done any really old beams that have soft areas? I did a farm hat was blasted to remove painted beams and you could still see white paint on them after it was blasted so I touched those areas in with brown eggshell and it looked like a masterpiece. The blaster could not go too aggressive due to soft areas .
@CharlesStevenage Yeah before 🙂 if it's so soft then really they need replacing as the strength will be compromised even new soft wood would withstand a blast 👍
@@Mobileblasterit was all above board and the client was a top surgeon, the beams were not tooo soft thinking back they could have been made rounded and the blaster was only the company labourer and in no way a professional blaster so it was a good job I made it look right!
@joeroad6618 it's mainly a mix of a lot of things I'm not a how-too channel I don't want to try and start saying what should be done and how because every job is different and a lot of factors are at play thats why I always say these videos make it look easy a lot more is going off than meats the viewers eye I don't want to put anyone off from starting up a sandblasting business 😊 just keep in mind it is alot harder than it looks. I used crushed glass hear 👍
It will have to go through the council as its listed meaning they cannot do basically anything DIY or building without strict control even though they own the building they still have to follow very strict rules to preserve the building
Sorry but I would have used a sanding disc on an angle grinder on those beams. You can even use 36 grit (making the disc last forever). Any sanding marks from the discs just look like rough sawn wood. 😁
😆 👍 it would take forever and a day. Even if you were on minimum wage you would still cost more doing it like that plus a blaster leaves a better finish in my opinion 👍
I'm so confused why anyone would paint exterior brick with latex paint. Limewash costs 15% as much, is incredibly easy to apply, looks better and is completely breathable.
Mick as always that the dogs bollocks of a project. Well done mate 👏👏
😊👌👍
I bet your customer is well chuffed with the results of those beams. Great vlog as always👍🇬🇧
😊 yeah they have to ask for permission now to see if they can fix damp
Great job.
😊👌👍
Better than new,, 👍🌟👍
😊👌👍
If it needs blasting Mick is the man for the job 👏 👌. Cheers mate 👍.

@@Mobileblaster 👍 you get to blast a great variety of things 👌. It's awesome 👌. All I blast is earthmoving machinery 😬 🤙
@scottkenzig5144 I enjoy that type of work as it keeps me on my toes a lot to fink about and a lot of costly damage if I get it wrong haha
Tastes vary and people can be wrong if they want to, but bare hardwood rafters look amazing.
😊👌👍
Hi when i done beams we used to put beeswax on them to look nice 👍

What sand blasting system are you using?
Pressure pot 👍
Thanks
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😊👌👍
other than using a lower air pressure, what type of media do you use when blasting wood to keep from chewing it up?

🎉Do you have a preference too any type of job or just as long as they pay 😊
@chriseccles1454 I do have a soft spot for boats mainly because the cafe is banging 😂

Hope you get more work from this. Outside wall.

Are you mad 😂?

My confusion starts with why would anyone want to paint brickwork?
