Recently ordered the 8500 should arrive today really excited..going on a ugly stik tiger 7' med-heavy action hope to land some big game with the new setup..I have a 6' heavy action for back up with a conventional pen squal 60 lever drag reel for the locness monster

I live in South Florida… just bought my first slammer… 7500 slammer iv dx… paired with a 7 ‘ Tsunami carbon shield rod and 700 yards of 55lb Nomad Ammonite braid. My most expensive setup by far… I hope the juice was worth the squeeze….
$520 for the reel and rod plus an additional $185 for the braid. I would like any opinions and/or advice
