You do combine a lot of different Vitamin C products, I don´t think you need to use that many. Also using a peel like the Facial Cleansing Polish every night might be too much. If hyperpigmenation is your main concern, maybe look into something with tranexamic acid or a retinoid as well, depending on your age.
Very helpful! I bought the night cream and eye serum about a week ago. I hope I will get some effect (more even skin tone, less breakouts, more plum area around eyes) 🙂 I also bought their day cream with vit c (essential c-day moisture broad spectrum spf 30). @@abdilila8307 this going to be a long answer :) Before Murad: under eye area was kind of grayish, lacked hydration which caused some fine lines (I do not have any wrinkles yet, probably because of fairly good genes). I was not happy with the effect I got from makeup - color was even, but the lines were visible through concealer and setting powder (tried a ton of different products and different application techniques). And now to the products itself: I’m using Murad eye serum only in the evening. In the morning I apply Lush Enchanted Eye Cream (which I started using in February/March, the bottle is huge so I must use it somehow and it is quite a good moisturizer anyway). Hi dr.Anne, I’m 27 and I’ve been using this eye cream and seem to wake up with puffy almost swollen eyes which goes down by mid day, do you know why this would be ?
It could be different things: Maybe you react to the eye cream, maybe you have hay fever or another allergy that has nothing to do with it (other product, laundry detergent,...) Maybe there is another problem that causes fluid retention when you lay flat. It is impossible to say. The easiest would be to stop the cream and see if that stops the puffy eyes - not proof, but a pointer that it doesn't agree with you. If that doesn't solve the problem, see a doctor about it.
The skincare lady at Sephora recommended this to me from a step up from my 0.25% retinol. (I know- I’m a baby! 🤣) I wonder how they know its a step up since the percentage of retinol isn’t listed? Expensive lesson I suppose. Lots to learn! Thank you for the help!
I would always recommend seeing a doctor to discuss the need for prescription if you suffer from acne to prevent scarring. But other than that this is a good product if you have the budget.

Hi! Have you ever looked at arbonne skin care products? they use a different retinol type that they call phytinol and was wondering if that works? thanks!
I know Arbonne from French pharmacies, but never tried any of their products. Phytinol is bot a retinoid, it is a plant extract that they claim has similar effects, which (as I am aware) has not much data behind it. I wouldn´t invest my money in it, but can´t comment on the efficacy as I never tried the products myself.
I find it infuriating that ANY skincare includes fragrance in this day and age. Ridiculous. Especially eye creams. The last thing I want around my eyes is fragrance!!! 😒🙄🥵😳😭
@@DoctorAnne I have sensitive eyes, plus I feel it's very unnecessary. And it can make the product less "clean" if the fragrance isn't all natural. That's the last thing we need: more chemicals. @@galaxyglitterlatte4664 "Clean beauty" is the biggest scam ever. Everything is a chemical, from the air that we breathe to the water we drink. And in terms of sensitivity the natural fragrances with their blend of different fragrant compounds are way more problematic than the ones made in the lab where you know exactly what is in it. All the "chemicals" as in drugs to treat diseases or even toothpaste to clean out teeth is what enables us to live that long. The one thing we can agree on is that fragrance is not really necessary in terms of having effects in skincare, but it adds to the overall pleasant experience, which in my books counts for something.
Any retinol cream that is available where you live and that you can afford and tolerate - but don´t expect a miracle, it won´t be able to solve that issue completely.
Hi! :) My cosmetologist proposed me to use dr murad products. However I would like to understand if any of dr murad products contain so called controversial beauty ingredients (parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, aluminum compounds, phthalates, triclosan, talc, mineral oil). Thanks!
Parabens, Mineral oil derived products, phtalates etc. are perfectly safe to use. For individual ingredient on the products please check the ingredient lists.
No. They are found in breast tissue, both with breast cancer and no breast cancer patients, so there is no proven connection. And no, in the amounts used in skin care they are not linked to hormone disruption. The biggest source of parabens are blueberries and carrots, both of which you eat, so if they´d be dangerous, you´d be at risk by eating a salad much more than by applying a face cream.
