Actually knowing spanish makes it better
As a spanish speaker, I die of laughing a lot with lopes. For example: "LA BRUJA LOS VA A MATAR" I died so bad there XD

this is actually really touching. if you look at Lopez after Donut misunderstood him you can see that he looks at him in a nice way rather than out of annoyance. man they did make the ending quite emotional

Spanish is my first language and my English is really basic.
I'm having a nightmare of a time trying to figure out what the hell is Lopez saying half of the time without reading the subtitles. (this makes it even funier in my opinion)
Well, Lopez's Spanish is deliberately bad which part of the charm of the character, to paraphrase the creators

Actually the only person that understood lopez was donut (occasionally) because he took Spanish in high school. Thats why he can sometimes understand lopez. However the bit was that the one person who understood lopez was the most ignored character.

I tried showing this to my Spanish Class for fun, but we ended up quitting on this video after about a couple minutes because it sucked. Whoever's reading this, I don't know about you, but whoever made this video did a really terrible job of it. Just about anybody else could have done better.
