While Defending our Bird Nest from the Neighbor’s Cats there was one cat that earned its own video.

Wonder if a little bit of dremel work on the nozzle could give you a bit of a fan spray. Less precision, but more accuracy. Basically, Deadpan wouldn't have just been hit in the butt the first time, or caught the edge of the stream the second, but would have had a nice soaked line across.
Here's an idea put out something they cannot resist in a cage /trap that holds an individual for a few seconds, while they get totally drenched with ice cold water, like a flushing toilet setup, you could have it I A tank of blue or green loo .
The cat would be free from germs and have a pleasant alpine fresh smell about it.
I am not a fan of cats they kill too much wildlife in the UK great work keep it going.

@@Turnah81 you should set up a flood light on the inside of a gate too, that way it blinds them so they have a higher chance of running straight into the water before they can focus their eyes

I had an idea for your water trap: instead of it shooting straight, make it onto a fan mode and point it so that it makes a wall of water so they get soaked even more, giving them a even better reason to not come back
Fuck it, hangout with that one guy and program the water gun to target and track cats and adjust pressure and exit diameter to maximize efficiency over distance/ target movement speed

@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Actually they can, in some places where mice were introduced (rats and mice are related anyway) at night they would eat albatross chicks alive starting from their rear end. These types of birds don't usually have any natural predators on their breeding islands and become completely incapable of protecting themselves or their chicks. Rats and mice are opportunistic and will eat anything they can manage, even helpless chicks, maybe not full grown birds but they can eat chicks and eggs.

The current one plus one pointing at the gate, but with the nozzle set to wide spray instead of stream, so they get it in the face but at lower pressure. Should double back & exit immediately.

Here in my little village in Marietta, PA we have a big CAT problem (and I don't mean bull dozers) so you've given me some ideas on how to keep them out of my yard at least. for the urination, wash everything with bio detergent, any cheap one will do, and spray the surrounding with it, for as long as it has a smell of other cats they will come back and urinate again, could be that something is also urinating on your car during the day when you at work, or shopping, then when you come back they need to mark that to..so bio detergent, I foster many many cats, tame and feral, its what i use to clean the enclosure between cats, if i didnt well it would all turn into a toilet as they try to scare others away..But loved this and the comment, thank you :)

Use vinegar and a wider horizontal spray pattern. The vinegar could be loaded into a 3 gallon pump sprayer, charged, and the spray handle actuated by a solenoid armature. :-)

Why???? For eating a bit of fruit to LIVE? Gtfo. We need to share land and food with nature, man. We have already taken over way too much of the land that is meant for other animals.
The rats aren’t bothering him. They aren’t pissing on his cars or eating the baby chicks. Even with the cats doing that, he doesn’t want the cats to DIE. He just wants them traumatized and gone.
He wants the rats to be eaten by the cats though, and says he is going to do something to handle the rats in an upcoming video that I won’t watch if it means violence/cruelty/death. That’s NOT funny. He is biased against rats for some reason.

Rats are a known disease vector, and they pee and poop wherever they go. They also tend not to finish a meal, but in stead nibble a little bit on each and every fruit they can find, making them all unsuitable for human consumption.
I get that pet rats are cute. Heck, I used to keep one myself in the past. But if you think the wild ones are the same, I suggest you invite a couple of dozen to your own back yard to help you come to a more sensible conclusion.

We did have a little colony living in our lean-to and garage, which I removed humanely as I know what wild fuzzos can carry and how destructive they can be.

When faced with this, against the 30+ intact cats the neighbors have hoarded, trying to kill my quail, peeing and pooping everywhere, the kindest solution was to use a live trap. However, there's no shelter to take them to, so they're released into a county with a shelter. Our other option is to shoot them, as suggested by a local Deputy. The cats, not the neighbors.
