@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Actually they can, in some places where mice were introduced (rats and mice are related anyway) at night they would eat albatross chicks alive starting from their rear end. These types of birds don't usually have any natural predators on their breeding islands and become completely incapable of protecting themselves or their chicks. Rats and mice are opportunistic and will eat anything they can manage, even helpless chicks, maybe not full grown birds but they can eat chicks and eggs.

for the urination, wash everything with bio detergent, any cheap one will do, and spray the surrounding with it, for as long as it has a smell of other cats they will come back and urinate again, could be that something is also urinating on your car during the day when you at work, or shopping, then when you come back they need to mark that to..so bio detergent, I foster many many cats, tame and feral, its what i use to clean the enclosure between cats, if i didnt well it would all turn into a toilet as they try to scare others away..But loved this and the comment, thank you :)

They also tend not to finish a meal, but in stead nibble a little bit on each and every fruit they can find, making them all unsuitable for human consumption. I get that pet rats are cute. Heck, I used to keep one myself in the past. But if you think the wild ones are the same, I suggest you invite a couple of dozen to your own back yard to help you come to a more sensible conclusion.

Thats one of the most spectacular things ive ever seen, laughed very hard. The problem with the cats and why they keep coming back is that of course as you know someone owns/feeding them. Your repellent scares them away and it works for a while, but they have been marking you territory as a safe frequent zone, thats the real reason theyre all doing this to your car, they feed and live in the same area, know each others scents and are applying their own on top of the others to claim territory, common knowledge. If you set your repellent up followed by thoroughly cleaning with scent repellent as well, it will solve the problem completely unless.... different cats are in the area and explore your yard again and mark it as territory/safe. Realize this is an old video, but meh, i had a blast watching these. Like lol.
Use vinegar and a wider horizontal spray pattern. The vinegar could be loaded into a 3 gallon pump sprayer, charged, and the spray handle actuated by a solenoid armature. :-)
Bro, this is what I am about. I too have an intense cat problem. Trapped 9 strays and let em loose in the rich neighborhoods but the “owned” cats are still an issue. Thank you for the book!
I'm just really happy you're scaring them away like this. Just because it's legal, so many people just shoots them if they go into their property, and I can't begin to describe how wrong that is. Thank you so much for getting the cats off in a non violent way.
It is wrong to shoot them.. it's also wrong for owners to allow them to roam freely not knowing if they have been run over by a car or killed by a fox etc, never mind the person who has to keep washing off their pee of their house etc

Cats are still pretty much wild animals, and while you can keep them inside their whole life, many species of cats won’t be happy with that. If you’re in a real big city then yeah, they shouldn’t go outside, but if you’re in a small neighborhood the cats should be allowed outside depending on the species. I wanna protect my cats but I also can’t deny them their freedom as half wild animals

If you wanna protect other animals from cats, you need to make protection for those animals cause you can’t do anything about the cats behavior. I’m not saying there’s no excuse for shooting a cat. Fx, I’ve had multiple of my cats shot, but how I see it depends on the circumstances. If my cat is breaking in and killing my neighbors chickens, then yes, they had every right to protect their animals that they own. But other times, I’ve had hunters shooting my cats for shooting practice which is a whole different matter. To put it short, I don’t know the situation in Australia, but you can’t fault a cat for acting as the predator it is, nor the owner since the only way to keep a cat from doing it is to force it to stay indoors which is just legal animal abuse depending on the species

What a comedian and a born entertainer with an understanding ‘guinea pig’ partner who falls foul of the “tests” - you’d think she’d have learned by now LOL! These videos sure beat the alternative droll advice for keeping neighbouring cats out with perfumes and potions. Cats need negative reinforcement to be deterred. As much as I love cats, having neighbours 2 cats stalking and killing wild birds I feed, rarking up our dog, entering the house via a cat door then peeing and pooing on one of our beds, was the last straw - & now it’s game on. Thats one of the most spectacular things ive ever seen, laughed very hard. The problem with the cats and why they keep coming back is that of course as you know someone owns/feeding them. Your repellent scares them away and it works for a while, but they have been marking you territory as a safe frequent zone, thats the real reason theyre all doing this to your car, they feed and live in the same area, know each others scents and are applying their own on top of the others to claim territory, common knowledge. If you set your repellent up followed by thoroughly cleaning with scent repellent as well, it will solve the problem completely unless.... different cats are in the area and explore your yard again and mark it as territory/safe. Realize this is an old video, but meh, i had a blast watching these. Like lol.

Use vinegar and a wider horizontal spray pattern. The vinegar could be loaded into a 3 gallon pump sprayer, charged, and the spray handle actuated by a solenoid armature. :-)

I'm just really happy you're scaring them away like this. Just because it's legal, so many people just shoots them if they go into their property, and I can't begin to describe how wrong that is. Thank you so much for getting the cats off in a non violent way.
It is wrong to shoot them.. it's also wrong for owners to allow them to roam freely not knowing if they have been run over by a car or killed by a fox etc, never mind the person who has to keep washing off their pee of their house etc
C DV I mean, I kinda agree, but it depends on where you live. Cats are still pretty much wild animals, and while you can keep them inside their whole life, many species of cats won’t be happy with that. If you’re in a real big city then yeah, they shouldn’t go outside, but if you’re in a small neighborhood the cats should be allowed outside depending on the species. I wanna protect my cats but I also can’t deny them their freedom as half wild animals

And if a “responsible” cat owner wouldn’t “let” their cat do that, then a “responsible” owner wouldn’t own a cat, cause that’s not something you can control. Cats aren’t as domesticated as dogs, they’re pretty much feral, and because of that, only few species are build to be kept indoors, whereas it would be torture for must cat species to be forcibly kept indoors. It’s not like you can control what a predator does when it’s walking around where you’re not around. If you wanna protect other animals from cats, you need to make protection for those animals cause you can’t do anything about the cats behavior. I’m not saying there’s no excuse for shooting a cat. If it’s actually a serious issue, like you say it is in Australia then measures like that may be necessary. But shooting them in situations like these where they’re just doing what cats do just cause you prefer the birds to survive is wrong.
Fx, I’ve had multiple of my cats shot, but how I see it depends on the circumstances. If my cat is breaking in and killing my neighbors chickens, then yes, they had every right to protect their animals that they own. But other times, I’ve had hunters shooting my cats for shooting practice which is a whole different matter.
To put it short, I don’t know the situation in Australia, but you can’t fault a cat for acting as the predator it is, nor the owner since the only way to keep a cat from doing it is to force it to stay indoors which is just legal animal abuse depending on the species

These videos and hysterically funny commentaries had me shrieking with laughter on the sofa, with tears rolling down my cheeks - the labradoodle thought I needed rescuing. What a comedian and a born entertainer with an understanding ‘guinea pig’ partner who falls foul of the “tests” - you’d think she’d have learned by now LOL! These videos sure beat the alternative droll advice for keeping neighbouring cats out with perfumes and potions. Cats need negative reinforcement to be deterred. As much as I love cats, having neighbours 2 cats stalking and killing wild birds I feed, rarking up our dog, entering the house via a cat door then peeing and pooing on one of our beds, was the last straw - & now it’s game on. Thanks for these videos. - I’m a NZ fan!
