Why is the northern section of this highway signed as "State highway 440" instead of Interstate 440? I realize it ends at a "non-interstate" highway, but I know of a few interstates that end or begin at "non-interstate highways." I enjoyed the video btw.
Arkansas has some of the worst - if not the worst - quality expressways/Interstates in the entire US. I hate this particular section of I-440 when heading north to Ohio. Every time I travel that route, my poor car's suspension gets the heck beat out of it, then all the dump trucks and semis kick out pebbles from their wheels when they drive over that rough pavement. I get paint dings every trip through. Can't believe I've not lost a windshield. I'd consider taking the longer path around through downtown, but that section of road is even worse. Between that and the construction, I-440 is the best of rotten choices.
US-67/167 SOUTH Sherwood North Little Rock Exit 13A US-67/167 NORTH Jacksonville Saint Louis MO Exit 13B.
I like how they got St Louis signed northbound from I-40. Obviously in preparation for when I-57 finally gets extended into Arkansas.

Highways beginning with even numbers go north and south while highways beginning with odd numbers go east and west 🛣️
Going to Jacksonville where 440 becomes a State Highway and joins with State Highway 167 🛣️
