Sometimes I think she deliberately leaves out products that we might actually consider buying from the company she talks about. She didn’t talk about the sunscreen in this one. She didn’t talk about the tranexamic acid inkey product for scars. All the expensive brands which will burn my pockets are the ones she elaborately explains and recommends. I understand the need to recommend her own and create a market base for her own. But they are impossibly overpriced here and as much as I want to better my skin, I am not going to kill myself over it. Only financially able people don’t want RUclips. Requested her for solutions to dark underarms and under eyes automatically suggests a recommendation of other products apart from her pigmentation kit that are available in the market. But no. I was happy that someone who understands and someone I could relate to is actually making sense to me. I could figure out why my skin was the way it was and it’s gotten a lot better thanks to her recommendations! I am genuinely thankful for her insight on this. But it’s horrible how the channel is transitioning from other “affordable” product recommendations to just “Dr V products diversity”.

But I don’t appreciate this shadiness in reviews where she conveniently leaves out products that are really important for us or perhaps we’re already using them. But she’s quick to review products when they are harmful. Eons to review one which is good. Be minimalist launched their transxemic acid and she reviewed it months after. But she was lightening quick to tell us that their sunblock was not good. This bias and attitude to show all wrongs that exist and forget the rights coming out is blatantly visible. And it’s very disappointing.

Your channel saved my face and I am forever grateful for that. I have ordered your Sunscreen which I am so excited about but I did have one question, can you review the Eczema Honey face care line? I use it to calm my face down specifically the oil, the face cream (the nut free one) and the face wash. All of their products are rather soothing, but just wanted to know if you could look and see. Thank you again for much for what you are doing, watching other skin care Dr.'s on RUclips is very interesting but their advice is not universal, you have geared your channel toward women of color and that makes a world a difference for us. Would really like to know if we are meant to increase the concentration of the products we use over time, like if we need to move from 5% Niacinamide to 10% after a few months or just continue with the same concentration if it works on our skin. "TheDermaCo" brand review... their Niacinamide 10%+1%zinc serum, their 5% Niacinamide + 10% vitamin C serum , their 20%Vitamin C, their Kojic cream (which contains kojic dipalmitate), their 0.3% retinoid serum, their spf 60 sunscreen...please please...
I have been using the derma co 2% kojic acid cream for almost a month now and it has helped fade my PIH quite a lot but it has fragrance in them which is a con. I have also tried alpha arbutin from the ordinary and minimalist as well and it did help with my acne marks but i saw a better result with the kojic acid cream personally.
Dr V, plz do a review on formula RX, deconstruct skincare, and also could plz do a video on chemical sunscreen, I know u don't recommend chemical sunscreens but in India can't find a good physical suncreen which doesn't leave a white cast. So till then we can use a good chemical sunscreen... Plz do a review on Earth rhythm sunscreen SPF 50 sun fluid.
