I like simple water because it doesnt have annoying smell or oils. I dont seem to get dry after it like when I wash my face with normal water or other water cleanser brands. What do you think about michelle garnirer water cleansers?
Hi Dr. V. Thankyou for putting in time and effort to make such informative videos. Just a quick question on your recommendation on simple vital vitamin cream. There are 2 products on that name and the picture that pops up in your video shows ‘Day cream Spf15’ while the lists that you have mentioned are the ingredients that are in night cream. Can you specifically mention which one did you recommend? And if its the night cream, is the day cream good as well? Many Thanks! S
I like that the SIMPLE ingredients are all simple but it's very affordable too. Hyram did a review on this brand too. Price is one of the reasons people don't have access to a lot of skincare products even if it's good for you.
Simple is a pretty nice brand. It's ecologically conscious, which I really appreciate, and all of the products are fragrance-free but all have a decent smell to them :3 I use their light and rich moisturizers and micellar water at times, and they all have pretty bomb ingredients. They do get the basics right.
I’ve been using Simple Face Wash, Micellar Water, Eyemakeup Remover and the Certraben Moisturizer you’ve talked about. I love the results. My skin is so hydrated and has clearly improved following this regimen. Thank you Dr V!!! ❤️
Thank you for this review. I feel like so many people are really critical about Simple but me and my family used the Hydrating Light Moisturiser for years and my family still use to this day.
Thank you Dr V, really appreciate your time. You mentioned you have a skincare routine for your daughter. Please could you do a video on childrens skin care routine and product recommendations?

Thank you for yet another educational video showcasing affordable products for skin of colour🙏🏽 It would be the most amazing thing for darker skinned people if you had your own skin care line available in high street shops. I would buy every single thing!
Thank God i found you! I am 43 and feel so lost on what sort of cream i need. I have indian skin and have tried so many products with no luck! I am on maternity leave so will binge watch all your videos🥰 🙏
I ruined my skin using Dr Organics range from Holland and Barratts. The essential oils definitely blocked my pores and caused me to get milia. I'm so glad to discover your channel. I didn't know the ingredients such as rose oil and the fragrance would be so bad for skin.
Hi Dr V. Thank you for taking the time to make these educational videos on skincare. I know how precious time is when you are a working Mum and have a family to look after. I have been keeping up with most of your videos and would like to thank you for this particular one today as you have explained the differences between using soap on the face and a face wash. I’m a great fan of rice water and recently started using rice soap on my face - wasn’t quite sure weather this was the right thing especially having dry skin..... I think I’ll only use now and again in my skin care routine and stick to a fragrance free face wash daily. Thank you once again.... Keep up the good work.
thanks for reviewing this Dr. V! Awaiting your video on the safest way for hair removal without worrying about the PIH! Also what can be done to avoid the recurrence of warts.
Their best cleanser is the one in the green packaging been using it for 2 years and it changed my skin. I always go back to basics when I break out and my basics are the cleanser and their light moisturizer

Hi doc, can you make a video on private area care ? So including mild soap washes for the private areas (for both women and men) as well as the hyperpigmentation of that area too. I think this is something a lot of people will be interested in too. Thanks xx 😘
Thank you for reviewing Simple, we have that in Kenya. Maybe you could also do Garnier. Pls advise also on body care products for hyperpigmentation, neck, hands.... The entire body basically... Lol!
Dr V I would love a video on which products we really need. Some RUclips skincare gurus are saying we don’t need an eye cream. But you have said skin around the eyes is different and we should use a separate eye cream? I’ve also wondered if we really need a toner because moisturizers and serums contain all the ingredients. So do we need a toner at all? It feels good but when all is said and I’m not sure if it makes a difference.

This video is HIGHLY informative ! not just about "Simple", but about parabans and alot more of info that u need to know about the science behind skin care . You are an amazing Doctor / youtuber . Thank you so much ❤❤
Hi dr. V. what can one use for hyperpigmentation on legs and inner thighs? Same products as you recommend for the face? Perhaps a topic for a separate video? Keep up the good work 😎
Yay, love Simple. Thanks for the review Dr Vanitta. Have to say, I was a little scared just incase the products I use or recommend didn't make the cut but glad they did.
Simple is different in the US. Many if not most of their products have fragrance. Hyram did a Simple review and only found one item that was fragrance free(which i love, mycellar face gel cleanser for dry skin). This might have changed so check the label before purchasing!😉
👏 I love Simple products. I have been using them for a while now but was hesitant at first because they are so so affordable. I have had trouble convincing 'label' loving family members to use it because of the price (they assume it is not good because it is cheap). I can't wait to share your video with them.
Your videos are so informative. As a regular person we have no idea what those chemicals stand for, thanks to the info you provide it’s much easier to buy these products off the shelf 😊 best wishes for all that you do

I was expecting your review on the Simple hydrating light moisturizer and the replenishing rich moisturizer. 😅 Those are available in India. Anyway you could those as well?
Couldnt you just check the ingredients list to see if it has sd or denatured alcohol, fragrance or essential oils? Those are really the ingredients she wants to avoid, that and strong aha.

You are so amazing and captivating on your own. This is the second video of yours I’ve come across with music in the background and find it distracting and totally un-needed. You are too great on your own. 🥰
Love this again! You asked about products for men and these products are something I could recommend to my 19 year old son. The issue than teenage boys/young men can perhaps feel is that they don’t want to use products that look ‘feminine’. He has used Bull Dog which I think is found in Tesco (could that get any more masculine?!) Also Nivea for Men products too. For men, would a two step routine of wash and moisturise be enough? Again, it’s trying to overcome the idea of too many products. I have notifications on for your videos as I’m excited to hear what you’ll talk about next!
Thank you for this video, I started using Simple facial wash which is great leaves my skin smooth and soft and I double cleanse with Marcelle water. I have been very happy with this product.😃
Hi Dr. V, I've found a new brand called BeMinimalist. It's same as The Ordinary but a lot cheaper in India ! The ordinary is 1600 bucks here whereas that's just 500 bucks.. Please review it ❤
I have sensitive skin . I do suffer with dermatitis on my body so I’m very cautious about my face . . Simple moisturiser face wash is awesome. All I know about it was safe for my skin .
Randomly fell in love with you- your personality and your channel on the very first video you made I stumbled on, posted exactly on the same date! Subscribed instantly. Hoping you’ll make video reviews on Tatcha, SK-II and Fresh in the near future 💕
Thank you so much Dr. V. First you are so beautiful inside and out. I like many others appreciate your genuineness to educate us all on our skincare. My daughter suffers with eczema and your advice is helping us greatly. Continue to share your gift with the world and thank your family for sharing you with us all. God bless you 🙏🏽.
I feel reassured, we've been using simple for years and just recently I've been venturing out a bit and realised that other big brands aren't as good after watching your videos. I have a question: about pixie vitamin c toner. in one of your videos you don't recommend it but in another video you were explaining (ish) what to not combine it with (if I remember correctly) and that confused me because I had the understanding that we shouldn't use it but the combination video suggested to me that it is okay to use. can you please clarify to me if it is good for soc?
Dr V please could you do a video on PHA (polyhydroxy acids), it's a new ingredient to me and it sounds like it would be a good alternative to AHAs for SOC (used in conjunction with other actives of course) because from what I understand, the molecules are too large to penetrate the skin so they just sit on top of skin and exfoliate the outer layer. Also, there's a product i've just bought that contains vitamin c in the form of sodium ascorbyl palmitate; I couldn't find much information on this ingredient so I wanted to ask if you know much about this please?
That's so awesome doctor and I am glad that you have monetized your channel for more awareness. I am so looking forward to bioessance products reviews please
Hi DR. V! I found your channel last week and now I am revamping my whole skin care routine! PLEASE please please do a review on Urban Skin RX! I looked through your channel and didn’t see one, if there is one please point me in the right direction. I think this one would be great for you to do because they market specifically toward people with melanin. I will continue watching all your great content thank you!
Hey doc.... You are so genuine and humble person I just wanted to request you to review some indian brands like FOREST ESSENTIALS, KAMA AYURVEDA, EARTH RHYTHM, NEEMLI NATURALS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO A REVIEW ON THESE BRANDS.... ❤❤
Hi Dr. V I would love to see you talk about luxury skincare such as Dior, La Mer, La Prairie. Im just wondering what do you think, is it really worth to spend on it?
First of all, thank you so much for educating about skin care especially for skin of colour💛 I buy products that you recommend ever since I’ve found about your channel and subscribed it. And I can see my skin’s getting better thanks to you 😍😍 Can you please give advice on skincare for dark underarm for skin of colour? I’d be so grateful if you could do a video covering care for dark underarm and underarm deodorants☺️

Hi Vanita,, you have been not mentioning product recommendations in description box in your recent videos.. Please do mention in order to avoid confusion.. Thank you . Lots of love
Very informative I have never seen those products, only the cleanse and when you used the wipes. On a side comnent, I can't talk and touch my face like that it, gives you a nice look
Dear Dr Vanita Rattan, I’m living Qatar , Super hot country . Following all your instructions for skin care and everyone says my skin is glowing , all thanks to you ❤️ but I’m looking for a solution for my dark cuticles and knuckles. Please suggest treatment and products I can use to reduce the darkness. Thank you so much 😊
Was waiting for this review ! Was hoping that ur thoughts on the hydrating light moisturizer would also be included cuz its a great product but it contains paraffin liquidum. But nonetheless great review❤️❤️
How funny, i dont think ive heard paraffin mentioned in any derm video ive watched on youtube and its alot lol...i have seen it in products. We need someone to talk about it without bias like dr v or dr dray or Cassandra bankson.
I never have any serious reaction, especially that bad, from any skincare before.. Im 39, dry skin all over from head to toe, since teenage, so rich moisturizer is always what I often used, and am looking for.. I’m really curious which ingredient cause me that reaction.. it even made 1 spot of my skin off on face, and another one on my neck.. fortunately I have aloe gel to soothe right away that they dont leave marks.. I read some people also burned after using simple light, so If I know which one is the irritant, I could avoid it on other products

Sunscreen is a must
Thank you for this video, I started using Simple facial wash which is great leaves my skin smooth and soft and I double cleanse with Marcelle water. I have been very happy with this product.😃
Can you please make a review on the brand "Garnier" :(((
Yes xx
Hahaha oh god that is gonna be a mess! Garnier are... not the greatest lol.
@@aquana yes..

Hi Dr. V, I've found a new brand called BeMinimalist. It's same as The Ordinary but a lot cheaper in India ! The ordinary is 1600 bucks here whereas that's just 500 bucks.. Please review it ❤

Is it minimalist or be minimalist?
I have sensitive skin . I do suffer with dermatitis on my body so I’m very cautious about my face . . Simple moisturiser face wash is awesome. All I know about it was safe for my skin .
Hello Dr. V! Please release your final verdict on tretinoin for skin of colour. Love your content!
Dr. V ...thank you very much for the tutorial on 'Simple' products. God bless.
Can you do a curly girl routine, with products available in India?
Thank you for being so honest and for explaining your opinions with scientific reasoning. ❤️
I have a question: about pixie vitamin c toner. in one of your videos you don't recommend it but in another video you were explaining (ish) what to not combine it with (if I remember correctly) and that confused me because I had the understanding that we shouldn't use it but the combination video suggested to me that it is okay to use. can you please clarify to me if it is good for soc?
honestly you are a rare gem in today's world, thanks for every video😊❤❤❤❤
Can you please review SUKIN and SWISSE? They are Australian products claiming to be natural.
Hi DR.
Was waiting for the simple moisturiser review😅 its getting trendy now
Thank you so much for what you Dr. V. You are truly appreciated

Hey Dr V, thanks again for another insightful video! Really appreciate what you’re doing for the coloured community ❤️❤️
Dear Dr Vanita Rattan,
I’m living Qatar , Super hot country .
POOJA CA it kinda burn my skin, dont know if it because of the paraffin
Oh no, sorry to hear that. What's ur skin type?
