SHE’S THERE! ...and what a ride it’s been!. From talented neophyte to blooming adolescent to young lioness prowling around looking to kill with that horn!
Andrea, Chris, Guitarist and Pe the drummer have soared like eagles with this number. The guitarist is anotherJoe Pass! Wow what talent.! Thank you all. Hey Bassist great stuff.
Monsieur Christoph Mallinger, votre groupe musical mérite d'être connu par le plus grand nombre car vous avez des musiciens de très grand talent ! Andrea Motis, comme toujours nous donne le meilleurs ! Bravo !
Oh My! That was excellent. Such imaginative and inspiring music! A standing ovation for all, but I especially like the backing of Esteve Pi on drums. Very solid group work and an outstanding solo. Well done Esteve. Thanks to you all!
Absolutely out of this world..starting with Andrea’s stellar performance, followed by Guitarist “Extraordinaire “, theSuper violinist and the drummer. Nice bass too. Has tone good to keep up with the rest. This one’s a real winner!
Some time ago, I read that Andrea considered herself a trumpeter who also sang. I remember thinking that everyone else would think of her as a singer who also played the trumpet. I may have been mistaken!
Excelente versión para este difícil tema de Art Farmer. Tan buena como la que escuché el último verano, acá en Villarrica, pero con Federico Dannemann en guitarra y Carlos Cortez en batería.
We all knew Andrea was, "ready for prime time", but nothing could have prepared us for her wise musical, (and I'm sure business) decision to become associated with this hip group. They lack nothing.
No offense intended to Christoph Mallinger, but my love of Andrea brought me here. She rarely plays with such skilled abandon, both on this and on "Love For Sale." But why should I be surprised? The group as a whole is excellent as well, of course! Wonderful jazz!
As an amateur drummer, I very much agree with Christoph Mallinger. The star soloists can shine even more brightly, when they play together with other great musicians. And this rhythm section is simply fantastic.
Actually not. Andrea and me are knowing each other and playing together for over 10 years. I'm also playin' at her New CD. And yes i'm playin' sometimes the 2nd violin when we are together on stage. That's how it is when you're together with someone famous. But nice from you to leave such a professional comment...
OK, Christoph, I will give you the benefit of the doubt for not writing in your first language. But, the way your first response is presented seems to indicate -- right after someone has complimented her and not you -- that, "Yes, she sounds good here, but there are 'many moments" when she doesn't." My bad if I misinterpreted it. My first language is English; my second is invective. I was deliberately rude, insulting and unprofessional. (I have a talent for that.) In German, I would be Gar Bär. I'll be listening....
Dear Gar Oso, with many moments i meant that Andrea had so many great moments the last 12 years.. musically speaking... And obviously not all is recorded. So i guess, we really did misunderstand each other. She is my love dude ❤
I accept the blame, Christoph. I have a suspicious nature. I am sorry I jumped to the wrong conclusion. Sorry, too, that I insulted you. Nice to know you are a good person as well as a fine musician.

Well. ...blow me down, Andrea really shows her chops on this one! !!!
Utterly Sublime !!!

Don't forget saxes. alto and soprano. All St. Andrue's children got rhythm, and multi instrumentality.
True! Sometimes, you hear the trumpet in her vocals!
Somebody's been wood shedding! Andrea, you sound great!
Incredible fluency on the trumpet. Thanks to Joan Chamarro.
Impressed with Andrea's trumpet performance, a clear improvement over what I had heard from her before.
Andrea's improvisation has always been good, but she has taken it to a higher level. I really, really like this group.
Fiddler has a Mose Alison kinda thing going there for a while.. Love what you are doing Andea. Strong group. Subscribed! Thanks!
gr8 violin solo. excellent deconstruction/reconstruction

Don't you overlook the personal bonds, or should I say liaison?
Questions? Cel is the answer, and he's close to two years old now!
Mallinger on violin -> Esteve Pi on Drums - Wow! I love the way Mallinger pronounces each name. He is as good at it as Joan Chamorro.
Splendid!
