I'll send this to my Taiwanese friend who wants to learn Kurdish! Thanks for making this video!
I try to learn Kurmanji but, when I was on Facebook (I left that social media over a year ago), I also joined a group where Sorani was taught with our Latin alphabet. However, when I left that social web, I couldn´t find other free online material teaching Sorani with the Roman letters, this is so useful for us westerners who don´t want to learn the Arabic alphabet, gelek spas for that!
It´s interesting how many in Kurdish cognates from several other Indo-European languages are clearly recognized by someone who has some knowledge of these roots! It´s truly beautiful.
Please, keep up the wonderful job! Her biji, Kurdistan, much love from Brazil!
To learn kurmanji . Refer to this channel ruclips.net/video/2pE8s9LxtnE/видео.html
Thats is one of the reason Kurds learn European languages so quick and easy as almost all structure and words are from the same roots.
Just like;
osto = esti = hestî: bone
star = estar = stêr: star
better = behtir
cent = sed
bow = brî = ebrû
I can go on like this for thousands of words, terms, names and so on.

Kurdish are several languages. Sorani, Kurmanji, Zazaki are all part of that. But they are separate languages because they are not mutually intelligible to each other . However, they all have proto Iranic origin. Sorani for example is old persian.

The Greek historian Xenophon in his Anabasis book talks about the Kurds “Kardouchoi” in 401 BCE[1]. They had formed their own societal system.
- It means Kurdish are on this area thousands years before Turkish.

Kardouchoi were Armenians. Karda means brotherhood In Armenian. Its not even a word In Kurdish. Just becasue these people had similar lookijg names dosen't mean they were the same people.

Sorani is a language not a dialect. I think it’s proto/ancient persian.
This language is as easy as English. A good language for Koreans to learn🙋
@Xoshtrin Stranen Kurdi Oh interesting
I'm white but I learned Korean for 3 years. Korean is an awesome language. In some ways it's suppper easy, and in other ways it's incredibly difficult. It's a long journey to be fluent lol. Maybe in like 4 more years lol. I can pretty much say wat I need though. Love Korea ❤ manse
@KURDİSH MUSİC HOME yeah... But that's using all conjugations and multiple words that mean the same thing or similar meanings but used in slightly different contexts.
English actually has the most words of any language. It's about 500,000 dictionary words. Korean has the most possible words though yeah
Kurdish here learning korean ! :D
I’m Kurdish and I’m learning Korean now lol, I thought it was easy but it isn’t of course, beautiful language though! Kurdish is an indo-European language and it’s completely different from Arabic and Turkish. But we have several dialects if someone wants to learn they have to pick which dialect they want to learn. But learning Kurdish depends on the person.
This will help me understand my Kurdish friends when they speak Kurdish, thanks a lot.

Just to clarify something. In Sorani Kurdish gender plays no role. In Kurmanji, Dimli, Hawrami and I think Leki it does. In Kurmanji for example we use for him "wî" and for her "wê". We also differentiate between object, animals and humans. If we ask who is this, we say "ew ke/ki ye" (depending on gender). When we ask "what is that" we say, "Ew cî ye". "Cî" is specifically used for objects or animals/plants.
Kurmancide şivelere göre değişir cinsiyet belirtme
I think leki hasn't gender
thats same in all languages . what is used for object . while who is used for people .
These are proto iranic languages. Sorani is old persian.
