- Jack Daniels announced the Coy Hill will be returning as a limited release in 2024, and collectors are obviously excited for this extremely high proof release from JD. Some expressions have been hazmat material. But is it worth the hype? Let's see.

This was my favorite bottle I got in 2023... by far. It's fantastic
Won’t even try to find it. I’ll stick with the SBBP and the rye that I can get and are fantastic in their own right. And only 65 in my area.
Those bottles are like gifts! Everytime I walk into my local shop and they are both sitting there, it makes me happy 😆
I love how how you say you’ll stick with SBBP as if you have a choice 😂
@@thomasmichael6509 I could try and hunt this just not that important to take that kind of time and effort. When I can walk in my local store and get a bottle of either the whiskey or rye. Just saying.
Hey, I’m Mikey P too lol. Cheers, from a fellow WTuber (new/small channel) 🥃Good luck getting the 2024, btw
I thought the coy hill was remarkably balanced at its proof point. A good punch of heat but it doesn’t overpower all that flavor that comes through. One of the better points I’ve had and on par with BTAC
Where will the 2024 bottles be available
A sip I am jealous of! Brown Forman, and in particular the JD side is likely my favorite producer for going on 2 years! I have yet to taste a Coy Hill though! My buddy has one, but he hasn't opened it yet..... probably because he didnt' pay $70 for it!
lol most people didn't i assume
I think it’s time I start to revisit JD stuff. Been a while since I’ve sampled any.
I'm thinking that too.
Single barrel barrel proof, either the Tennessee whiskey or the rye are both amazing.
You can't jack them up if you get it from the ABC store though. That's the great thing about state stores. Because everything's MSRP
I’ve recently become a JD convert as well. The JD12 batch 2 got me on board. Would definitely snag this bottle if I ever found it.
I don’t know what’s higher. The proof of this whiskey or the temperature in my town. Lol great review!
My general tasting notes on JD products is ethanol and charcoal which has kept me from them for a while. Perhaps it's time to give them another try.
Nathan "Nearest" Green was a formerly enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel how to make Tennessee whiskey and is considered the first African-American master distiller in the United Sta
Huh I’ll have to keep an eye out for this
My dude… totally agree! Whiskey on the shelf to drink & share! JD is doing good things. Sounds great, this dog might have to hunt, if I can find it at a reasonable price! Thanks for the preview! Hope the new release is in the same vein. 😉
I should note, the new Coy Hill is a bit different. This years coy hill is from the middle of the Coy Hill warehouse. The other Coy Hill was specifically the top floors. So there likely won’t be as many Hazmats
If the release is not any more than last time, it will be at crazy high prices everywhere it can be found.
8.6? It is better than that!
Probably not gonna be that high of proof points compared to the original Coy Hill release. Hopefully they have A hazmat proof point but doubtful.
Is this the distillery only release?
I bet everyone will be like batch 1 was better this is not as good.
Here's something super silly. I saw this video and instantly got excited thinking the 2024 release of Coy Hill was out and I missed it.
Even worse... I'm the one that sent the sample 😂😂😂
