Which keycaps are these?
That wobble looks pretty bad
It's more flex than wobble, typing on it feels very stable and I never have to readjust the angle. The flexibility is a pro in my opinion.
@@KyekOfficial Maybe it's because I bottom out hard. I hate the flex/chattering that happens as the vibrations kinda hurt my fingers when it's cold.
@@duckadence I don't know your current setup, but if you want something similar to what I have but with less flex I would just get a different tripod, probably something that you can screw in place instead of having springs like the one I'm using.
Thanks for the comments by the way ☺
How is gamming with this keyboard?
It takes a bit of effort in making a good gaming layer and remapping some controls in games but you can do it. You can play 2D games, FPS, MOBAs, Third person shooters/adventures, platformers and more. I do not recommend it for gaming if you want to play competitive fps games at a high level, or if you play a lot of MMO/RPG or Real time strategy.
@@KyekOfficial I want this for work and some casual gaming, nothing competitive. Thanks.
Is the tenting worth it from an ergo perspective?
The tenting is quite expensive. Do you have any pros and cons of this specific tenting?
Yes, I find the tenting to be more comfortable. However I could live without it.
Pros:
+ Good looking
+ Removable and foldable
+ Tripods can be used for other things too
+ You can choose your own tripod or mounting solution if you don't like this specific tripod
+ All future splitkb.com keyboard will support the puck, so you only have to buy tripods one time
Cons:
- Expensive
- Limited angle options (with this tripod)
I would recommend tenting also. You don't have to go with the tenting puck to get the benefits of tenting, but the tenting puck makes portability better
