Dean Webster Thanks Dean! I had an 8 foot piece of 2x6 white cedar and 3 inch deck screws kicking around home, put them to good use. They are awesome, I get many comments from other campers near us.

Life, on OUR time Maybe you’ll have to start selling these... Or you could do a video on how they are made...😁😁. I think they are much better than those plastic ones myself.

We have done a few Walmart’s and they tend to work just fine, but definitely not the best places to say the least, liked the vid and can’t wait to watch more from u guys.

You never know what you will find at a Walmart... but we’ve found it not to be too bad in a pinch!

Great Video, I have found that although Class A generators can be noisy, Most Semi trucks are far noisier. But after a while those running motors just become white noise. Least that is what I keep telling myself. We over night frequently in Walmarts, and in Rest Areas. We use the RV Parky App to help determine if a Walmart allows overnight parking. We always go into the store and speak to the manager or assistant manager, get permission and have them let us know where they prefer we park. We do not open any slides, nor do we put any landing gear down when overnighting. Never had a knock on the door. Safe Travels!!

Great info, thanks. Agreed, it's best to be courteous and non-intrusive. I had a look through the app for my area and it's quite accurate, thanks for sharing.

Chose to watch this video, even though it's a little older, because we may have a Walmart stop on our next trip.

We have never stayed at a Wal-Mart yet. It is not in our plans but I'm sure it will happen at some point.

I like your leveling wedges and I may have to go to my band-saw and do that too.
I've done the Walmart overnight on several occasions ... Not ideal, but sometimes it's the best option. There was only one time when I didn't like the neighborhood and felt unsafe, so I moved on.
You never know about shopping centers or private parking lot's. I guess the worst that could happen is that someone wakes you up and tells you to move on. I've parked at shopping malls before, and gotten permission from the security guard.
At least with Walmart you can know that it is OK, unless otherwise posted.
Have you ever parked in church parking lots? You would think they might accommodate weary travelers. Wouldn't hurt to ask if you can call ahead, while the staff is in. I'm going to try that some time, because a lot of churches have beautiful private grounds and nice parking lots. Thanks for the video and may all your journeys be safe.

Jurgen's Journeys Good advice, thanks. We haven’t done a church parking lot, but we did stop in one to make supper in Woodstock NB not far from the Canada/US border and I thought the same. Quiet and spacious, at the time I wondered if the Pastor would allow people to overnight there. I would consider exploring that on a future long haul trip. Safe travels, and glad you enjoyed the video!
