That's awesome, but also sad. Truthfully, if I HAD to, I don't harbor any put-off feelings when it comes to eating people. Now, I'd never kill someone to eat them, but if I was starving on an island and my best friend just dropped dead? Humans are meat, meat is calories, calories is time, and time is hope of survival. Plus, plenty of cultures around the world eat people after they've died as a sign of respect, as a way to "Make them apart of you forever", quite literally.
I don't know, perhaps I'm just abnormal, but when it comes down to it, I've never seen humans as more than Smart animals. We're still part of Nature, we're not some automatons who rose from nothing.
Caveat: I also do believe in honoring someone's wishes. If they said "Please don't eat me, bury me" then bury them. Or "Don't bury me, burn me" then burn them. It's a very simple thing. Although, I do recognize this makes me sound a little too close to Hannibal Lecter, but I stand by what I say.
TLDR: Humans are friends, and *can* be food under the right circumstances.

As quite a terrible nail biter not actually that far from Emily in my nail biting severity. I have been known to bite my nails and fingertips to such a degree i almost had the end of several of my fingertips amputated due to infection on more than one instance, this vid is horrifying and i strangely love it. Im not about to become a chitinous monstrosity at any point. I can honestly say i have pretty good self control but the urge to bite my fingers when at aome points i am desperately aware of the incredible pain my fingers are in and the fact that in the case of two of my nails i have completely removed nails all the way to the wick albeit this is not something i have done in the last several years due to what i can only assume my life being far more on track and my anxiety being significantly lessened by my current lot in life.
Despite this however i still regularly bite my fingers to a point they are so bloody and raw i simply can not use them for days and i have no idea why this is, all i know is the compulsion is so strong that even were my wrists tied to a chair with chainmail gloves on i am almost certain id eventually get my fingertips nack in my mouth... The for guy 7ñ

Considering the current state of the internet, especially with all these people self-diagnosing on tiktok as if mental disorders are cool and quirky, I'm acutely aware of how hard this might be to believe; but I have this exact list of disorders myself.
I'm curious; do you also have a highly accurate cue'd memory which frequently leads your thoughts to tangents so far removed that you couldn't possibly hope to explain to someone how you arrived there without sounding deranged?
One example I have found very helpful in explaining my thought process is that Malcolm In the Middle episode where he meets that kid even smarter than him, and Malcolm explains to him how his brain works.
Anyway, if you actually took the time to read this, thank you. I'm sure it was a bit of a journey. I wish you well

@ I was actually diagnosed with ocd and bipolar by a psychiatrist. Even my dad who first heard of Asperger’s online search for specialist until he found a psychologist to test me for Asperger’s to confirm it. Took us 18 years to get a confirm diagnosis because every psychiatrist in the past kept ignoring the fact there was a bigger issue than ocd and another disorder called Attention Deficit Disorder (add) but everyone around me can tell (it helped that my dad has a sibling with ADD)

One of the new phobia SCP? This one reminded me of my old self. I used to bite my nails out or anxiety

I bite the skin around my nails instead of the nails themselves. I don't remember the last time when none of my fingers were wounded

I tried biting my nails once to see what the big deal was. Not only did I not feel any calmer, but having to wipe off the saliva motivated me not to do it. I actually squeeze my hands together when I am stressed, and if a stress ball is available, I opt for it instead

      Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXVIII
MMM... Homer: Homer's appetite reaches new highs (or lows) when he finds the perfect food to eat when there is none in the house: himself.
