Lowered the value of the vintage bungalow. Please never use this woman again! What did "she" do with the mission style furniture he had which totally went with the style of the home? The thing I did like is this is a wonderful family and he makes a GREAT father! His children are lucky! This was a poor rescue due to the decorator. They did a really good job, but I wonder how it would have been different if they'd had a designer who specialized in spaces for artists. She did a good job on the aesthetics.

So sad that in updating the house they took away the character. They took away a thing of beauty to modern acceptance.

@John Texas actually she was right. It's sad no one taught you how to speak to women or be a decent man. Get a life, sir.

      LLLMMMFFFAAAOOO !!!!!!!!!!
I think many can agree that YOU are clearly the only NASTY little NEGATIVE *bitch* associated with these comments☣
I truly despise when people make assumptions about a person they do not know/know anything about, but in this case I think it's safe to say that your parents would be sooooo proud of you John (sarcasm), && I'm quite sure that your wife left you long, long ago😄 Oh && can't forget the most blatantly obvious - you are miserable in life.. && I'm sorry about that, but that doesn't give you the right to talk to people - women especially, in a degrading manner.. it will get you nowhere. Just remember ; happy, mature, thriving adults who live fulfilling lives do not act this way. We spread positivity && respect (or at least accept) other peoples opinions, && we damn sure don't lash out on strangers online due to not having any coping skills &&/or to make ourselves feel better. Hilarious ? Kind of. Sad ? Definitely. Peace && Love to you, you kind soul you🤣🤦‍♀️

The wood, the house, whatever makes you all so "disappointed" in this rescue, is not/are not sacred in any way whatsoever. Nobody should ever have to adhere to anyone else's idea of "save this," "preserve that," "Don't destroy the sacred layout (or wood, or patch of grass, or the sacred birdhouse built by great uncle ( )...)."
A house is meant to be lived in, to be changed as needed and desired to suit the homeowner(s) and occupants. One of the reasons HOA's are such a pain in the derriere is their constant need to dictate what homeowners can and cannot do--THEY are what should be outlawed, not something like painting over wood trim, as the ridiculous negative remarks all through here state.

remember, the homeowner said he liked the woodwork!!

But it is "sacred" && charming, etc...
      To many, many people actually.....
Are you from a different planet ???
I've truly just never heard anyone trash talk beautiful woodwork before🤣🤚🏼 Of course there are people who ruin it, paint it, replace it, what ever, but that's personal preference (like everyone has) ; because they want a more modern-day look &&/or it's just not their style, but YOU are acting ridiculous over it.. especially when this owner clearly stated that he loved that aspect of the home.
How are you gonna TRY to tell people what to say or be concerned about when YOU are saying && being concerned about what others are saying && being concerned about -- Get what I'M saying😝???
      Quite contradictory of ya, Joyce🤦‍♀️

The paint over the wood and the bricks is horrible. I hope the owner strips it all away in short order.

why destroy a perfectly good little trees and perfectly good original wood work? why? not it looks like any new house with no character and the front of the house is 'empty'.

  • @Ivehadenuff

Never paint natural woodwork. Ever. That quality is not found in most new homes.
