Great video! Hobby Hill is go-to course I love seeing how others approach it. I’d love to know what kind of discs you use before you throw them, maybe even some commentary on why you chose to use that disc.
I came to watch this video expecting tips on better drives and shot shaping to improve my game. What impressed me the most though is how much you practice each shot before the throw. I normally just think about it for a few seconds and then sling it. Maybe something I should work on during the winter
It’s something I’ve learned to do after many months of terrible shots. - get yourself pre-shot routine! ❤️ Would it help if we made a video with a voice over of what’s going on inside the head and what discs are being thrown?
Putting and consistent drives. Distance has very little to do with it. The question is, how many times can you throw the same disc with the same line. Advanced and MPO players typically have an advantage over others.
David, I want to see you commit FULLY to an orange Dynamic bag. It appears you only have some orange putters to obtain. I have an entire orange bag of discs now, only Trilogy.
@@seekrdiscgolf well i mean the entire course was 200 foot holes no small gaps. maybe not ma2 but you could probably get away with playing ma2. whats your rating. if your your high then 950 then fair play
@@seekrdiscgolf not that i saw, ya 3 or 4 holes or longer then 300. not saying you arent ma1. just saying the course wasnt the best to show it. lol I know your good im watching you putt. gotta play the devils advocate sometimes ya know xD
You're good man, no doubt, i just wish this channel wasn't all about you. Why not film another advance player and commentate the round discussing why they are advanced? You may right about being advanced but taking the time to talk about your thought process (disc selection, shot options, form choice, etc) or discussing missed opportunities, leaves the viewer to just watch an "advanced" player. For what it's worth there is SO much more going on that is not surface level in leveling up an advanced level.
The vid was just an showcase of an advanced players “skills.” That’s all my boy. :) Everything you mentioned above I do, but on the Seekr Community/app.

You got it! That will be my next video! Just for you! ❤️

What do you think separates advanced players from rec or intermediate players? Is it putting? Distance?

@@Grahamzy there’s plenty of small gaps and holes longer than 200 my friend. 🧐

Consistency is all that is between divisions
Correct! It’s amazing how true that is!

"Hey David, what discs were you using?"
David: "Orange"
Hahaha. All orange. Just orange. I throw a lot of DD. Truth, Judge, escape, tresspass, culprit, and Justice.
I love it! I bag all those as well minus the trespass.
Seeketh the chains and ye shall findeth them.

Why did you start with 17?
The hole is right next to my house - I always start there.

They don't play the world's or pdga national in the woods.

I got an ace today, I posted it on my channel.
