So lily screws up the number and the group wins first place but then the OG team performs “The Waiting Room” at nationals flawlessly and they get 2nd.
Now that ain’t it.
They perform it twice that is why they won and season 5 nationals was rigged.
Yeah they performed it well, but the choreography was quite easy, there wasn't loads of dancing in it. It was more of a performance piece

I weight-lift and last week I was about to do a complicated move and someone walked in front of me -- nowhere near where I would hit them but just seeing them in my space, I bailed out and dropped the barbell. Logically I would have been okay but it psyched me out to know someone was that close to me when I was performing a high intensity move.

Lilly is reminding me so much of Maddie, that much pressure shouldn't be put on a kid.
Melissa was much calmer and level headed (at least she was up until LA)than Stacey. . I think Stacey's behavior is adding to Lily's freezing up and anxiety. Maddie's mom stayed out of the fights and was nowhere near as petty and instiagating like Stacey is. That probably helped Maddie tremendously. Maddie put the pressure on HERSELF, and yet she rarely made a mistake. Stacey needs to chill out. Also, could you imagine what must be happening to her client list? I would never see a psychologist that acted the way Stacey does.
@@agfan84 Maddie handled it better publicly, but if you listen to her now and how she feels about the time she spent on the team and how much pressure was put on her, it is heart-breaking.
Lily doesn't remind me of Maddie, because Maddie can handle the pressure and Maddie was the best dancer on her team (according to Abby) however would prefer to have Brady dance.

Lily was not too close to Pressley. It may have seemed like it while Lily was onstage though. She was actually a bit behind on the previous step and seemed to rush into the aerial to catch up, which caused her to fall. That’s what I saw.

The whole reason she was slightly behind at that moment was because she was trying to decide what to do, whether to do that side ariel or not she would t have been able to decide at that exact moment otherwise she would have hurt herself.

It’s can be really hard to tell where the person is and she said she couldn’t angle it because of the wings witch you can’t risk hitting because they are stupid expensive, and a foot to face also isn’t good. Only good option is what she did just sucks she was in the front when it happened
They weren't too close but if your doing a trick the same way you can injure yourself or someone. So lily wasn't lying
it’s hard to judge if you’re in the right spacing especially if she was close to Pressley the rest of the dance and then for the aerial she was also close to the wing and she doesn’t have a lot of time to judge whether she has enough room or not. better safe than sorry
agfan84 aerials are really hard and you have to spot on the ground so you can’t really see so if the last thing you see is a dance coming closer you can get nervous

I don’t if they still do this. But in the earlier seasons of dance moms they would film they’re performances twice. One for the competition and one to make sure they have the right angles of the dance/show. So maybe she was too close to Presley in one the dances but the editors/producers didn’t show that clip.

It may look like she wasn’t close to anyone but when you are doing an aerial or either upside down, people tend to look closer. Plus, a dancer could feel they could hit someone before even doing the move.

selma yes but the moms knew what they were doing. it’s not like the ogs moms who had no idea how popular dance moms would be? at first it was just a tv show about kids dancing and their housewives moms taking care of them in the dance studio yeah sure there’ll be some dramas but if you watched season 1-3 it used to be very natural and spontaneous but since s6 it’s all about the drama which is kinda sad. so as i was saying there are 7 seasons of dance moms, plenty videos that shows how abby/the show/the pressure ruined some of the kids’ mental health and self confidence.

Literally when you feel you are too close to someone your body shuts down no matter how easy something is to do. She was in constant motion and it would’ve been hard for her to tell if she was close to her or not. Stop hating when you probably can’t even do one and don’t know the concept of one🤦🏻♀️
@@hidamisolivofelix922 well Lilly probably was distracted because she missed the step right before the aerial and was more focused on correcting the step than prepping for her aerial so she made an excuse that she was too close to Pressley when really it would be impossible to hit her since she was behind Lilly. It would have been more logical if she said Savannah because they were right next to each other. But I did see that she was kind of close to the wings.
@Tingna Zheng the camera was placed in a well spot so we can see how far Lilly was from Pressley. tbh Lilly did miss a step before the aerial, so while she was trying to catch up with the girls, she missed her prep for her aerial so she fell

I feel sorry for lilly but she also has to own her mistakes, you can see on the video that she was already off when preparing for the side aerial, and was absolutely not that close to Presley.
Same thing with Stacey, she started the conversations about Brady lots of times, and was sarcastic not only in this episode about him being the lead. For her to say that she doesn't know why Brady's mom was upset mostly with her is ridiculous.

Remember that your perception changes when your upside down. She was already stressed and panicking beforehand, so it's not a stretch for her to miscalculate out of fear that she might go into curtain or hit Pressley. It's difficult to tell how far you travel during an aerial, and Lily's aeriels are REALLY jumpy, meaning that she travels just about twice the amount she should.
@Kiera Haggarty Lily would have had to jump the same amount as her other team members for the dance to be properly in sync. I also believe she was nowhere near Pressley or the curtain.
@@thomassewell5693+ And she's gotten alot better with it now, but if you do look at other duets, trios, group dances etc, Lily isn't all that great with her control, so her timing was almost always off and was therefore not in sync. She always travelled double the amount as the others during leaps and tricks, and took half the time.

No because sometimes it dose feel like you kick some trust me sometimes I’ll be doing a Ariel and something/or someone can just be in sight and it puts u off and can make u feel like there closer and can hurt u or someone
Chloe Obrien when you’re upside down people can look a lot closer. Even when I did dance classes (wasn’t competitive so never was allowed to do arieals since they always told us it was too dangerous barley did cartwheels maybe one or 2 times only when I was in the teen classes at 9) as a kid and had to do handstands sometimes it would look like I was gonna kick someone behind me when I kicked up just because you see things different when you’re upside down

I agree that you shouldn’t blame people but as a dancer I can say it’s hard to properly tell people’s position. It’s hard because you can’t look around you, you have to look at the audience. Look at the fellow dancers and it seems as though you forgot the dance. So even if she wasn’t close she probably felt that she was and didn’t want to risk it.
Your right she did slip but that was also because it could have been second guessing herself due to the space concern.
I was just saying that she may have actually had a concern about that because it’s a real issue. Wasn’t saying that she didn’t miss the step or slip lol. I was just giving a reason as to why it may have happened lol.
@@sistersuga1152 everyone else managed fine. And it's still her fault for second guessing herself. Literally not Presley's fault at all. Lilly just can't stand not being the best. Take responsibility and move on. She has a lot to learn. I couldn't stand her cockiness this season
I didn’t say that it wasn’t Lily’s fault. I literally just pointed out something the could have happened. It was lily’s fault but I was just saying it was a legitimate worry. It was her fault lol. I was just saying she could have been legitimately worried about it.
