The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

JoJo is such a good sport. Abby treated her like trash for years and then as soon as she gets famous, she’s the favourite. JoJo could have easily said no you treated me like garbage, leave me alone. But here she is, visiting Abby, participating in the show and helping these girls with the solos that Abby bullied her over. Class act.

I think It might be a lot of understanding what those girls have to go through for recognition too! She has a heart and mercy for these dancers because shes been there and clearly hasn't forgotten where she came from :) I don't watch these often anymore but from what I see here that what I think

I do agree that kids need to be taught to have a sense of individuality but as an athlete it is good to have people to compare yourself to as motivation to improve. The issue is when you go beyond comparing just technical skills and start comparing personalities and other things

For Chloe she was mistreated and emotionally abused by Abby, for Maddie, she was stressed on the show and favoured by Abby, but when Maddie, McKenzie and Melissa left, Abby accused Melissa of stealing money from Abby and Abby shaded Maddie just because Maddie doesn't mention Abby.

Well it is true. I'm pretty sure that if Stacey didn't whine and run her mouth so much about Brady being on the team, Abby never would've asked him to leave. It's crazy the amount of things Lilly and Stacey got away with (like running to the bathroom and crying after getting second place, for example) that the other kids and moms would never be able to even if they tried.

I don’t think Ellie’s choreo was bad but I don’t think it showed off her assets whereas Lilly’s definitely showed all her strengths
they only showed like 20 seconds of the solos ya know...? Also its what the dancers do with the choreography!! :) I honestly think both dances were great they were both different I can't really compare them. :)

Lilly definitely got the better solo, that's a fact. I wouldn't say that it showed all her strength though, but Ellianas solo was way too easy for her and the choreography wasn't half as good...
I always think it's such a shame that Abby makes young girls who are friends go head to head. First Maddie and Chloe and then Ellianna and Lillianna.

It's easy to understand if you break it down
So a passé is when the working foot passes the supporting foot on a turn that makes contact with the supporting leg and a coupé is where one foot cuts the other foot away and is used as a connecting step into another movement and compass I believe is another turn where the rotating leg is out instead of on the supporting leg. Please note that I'm not a professional dancer, I just did a google search on these terms.

Lily is way above maddie’s level though. Her technique and skill level is far superior
