I hope you are wrong but I feel the same way, if molten core is "hard" then people will quit, or if "heat level 3" gives X amount of loot and we are pretty much forced to do the hardest heat, then people will quit because they can't do it.... idk just seems like a good chance this is gonna suck.
It's retail raid tiers inserted into classic. The more SoD develops the more they keep implementing things to train classic player brains into getting used to retail
I agree on all fronts brother. Only reason I'm still playing SoD is because of my guild and friends. If I was playing as a solo I'd just go back to hc yo or a pserver.
Initially I liked them changing boons to 5 min cooldown but he’s definitely right that it will be obnoxious to re-boon after every boss just to ensure you don’t lose your buffs to trash. Maybe it should be like 30min cd
I think the disappointing thing about buffs is that the playerbase fully understands that they are idiots that don't pop the buffs except for the hard stuff and then still blames developers for implementing them in such a way. At the same time the reason developers implemented them (and the boon) in the way they did was a response to players bitching about griefing. I have heard some ideas around world buff vendors, be it gold, some sort of added currency/rep, or something else. Here's another idea; when you have the boon on, any world buff you get drops into the boon. Having to unboon and reboon is kind of... pointless. That would be interesting in a world where we "have to" have world buffs. Personally I'd just rather a game without them entirely. The tedium of collecting them is maybe the thing I am looking forward to the least. To me, this is way less fun than "can't play game for ten seconds" mechanics.
Yeah don’t known if you have time to play it on your free time. But for me it really feels like classic+ should have been. Fixing alot of broken talent trees adding more dungeons/ raids. Haven’t played it at max level since i don’t have time right now.
had to take a long break from wow for life reasons. Been back since early p3 and really enjoyed the experience playing again. Stop taking the game for granted, times change and the player base ages. You can't expect to have every facet of the game fulfill every desire.
Re the job argument around 8:15 - this isn’t meant to be Classic plus. It’s a testing ground where they’re trying all kinds of stuff. The devs also do not only work on SoD, they also work on Cata, Era, and Hardcore - they aren’t adding things needlessly just to look busy.
That's cope though. Why would you buy this corporate PR excuse blizz put out pre SoD to cover their asses if it flops? You aren't playing a beta bro. It's a real game you're paying for despite what Blizz tells you to spin the narrative.
impossible to make classic players happy, beg for classic + for 20 years get classic + complain about getting too much + and being too good at the game for it to be difficult.
After that Turtle WoW Unreal Engine i just decided to start lvling on Turtle WoW, lvling isnt too bad with the 150% rested xp from tents and 20% xp boost from warmode, getting ganked by undead rogues is a little bit annoying tho with warmode on xd. I quit SoD after Phase 1 just lost interest in it, phase 4 isnt looking much better.
"easy" i've played since launch day 2019 and i've never raided because getting able to raid is not easy , to me. and then looking at the raid it does not seem "easy" i raided on retail and wotlk tho.
Makes total sense. Lower difficulty -> less friction between players -> everyone has a good time.
BFD @ end of P1?
Imagine quitting P4 for the same reasons people didn't start in P1.
Yo bliz hire this guy pay him to do almost nothing😂
Retail minus would be really cool. Would bring me back to the game.
honestly most companies feel like they should hire consultants to help them see problems in an unbiased way

I heard in china there is an Npc at the door of raid, gives you all world buffs. That would be awesome imo.
Id like that. I think buffs being a pain to get offers little to the game, but the risk of losing them offers a lot.

perfect discription of problem with world buffs in pug scene

My guy you need a personality hire in your raid group.
They should have leaned into speed running and parsing being the high end skill testing endgame rather than the difficulty of the bosses mechanically.
🔨💅😓
Yo Jake have you checked out turtle wow? Would like your opinion on it. It is private server so maybe u can’t make video I don’t know how it works
Have friends who have said its cool. I think i cant stream it, but pretty sure i am allowed to make vids about it
@@JakeFromTreeis the streaming limitation a blizzard legal thing?
Turtle wow on Unreal looks so dope. I’m convinced it’s gonna be 2019 2.0

>Muh parses
Seriously. Who cares about parsing.
Agreed with everything else though.
just make it to where if you kill a boss under a timer you enter ultra hard mode. (classic +)

i hate world buffs get rid of them or give a item that just gives you the world buffs
nothing is fun and engaging about getting them even. its annoying and a time waste
