That is an absolutely stunning bike, and flawlessly made video! I love seeing these incemental improvements from Ural, and the way you go over them is informative and explanatory, really nice work! Just another push in the direction of me getting a Ural. Thanks for sharing!
I would love to order a Ural with almost the same set up. I would only like to add heated grips and a way to plug in heated riding gear for the rider and passenger. I will contact you all soon to discuss inventory (I know of the issues and the moving of the factory), new shipments, or the possibility of a similar uplift to an older used Ural. You all do incredible work! Cheers, Dan
My question would be in respect to the oil cooler. Does this application require additional oil in the system. This also "looks" to be a relatively costly addition which may not necessarily reduce engine heat to render such expense worthy of such a cost outlay.Living in a region such as I do, Southern Az. a bike equipped as such may well be worth that extra cost. In addition I'm really drawn to the black engine option. Is this practical .Thanks for your feed back. I find these bikes much more exciting than other 3 wheel platforms that mimic rocket ships.
The light on the right fender is very interesting. In Europe (as far as I know) unfortunately not according to the approval standards. In my opinion, it brings a lot of passive safety for the Riders.
Beautiful bike I want one, what I would do though is see if I could fit 16 inch rims and 5.10 size nobbely tyres on the thing a la 1943 BMW/Zundap, it would finish the thing of.
Years ago I had BMW r66 similar but overhead valve and I have one question why they still making engine on roller bearings crankshaft made from sections when they have much better designed engine from dniepr 11 which has one solid crankshaft and oil pressure bearings .It also has one big spinning oil filter which has easy access that's a puzzle to me
Hey guys, great job setting up that Ural with all of those sweet extras. Ive got a question for you. I know that one of the major bonuses to buying a Ural is the available 2wd option for off road driving. However, ive noticed that there is no rear differential on the rear wheel, sidecar wheel axel. Does this pose any problems in the handling and drive ability of the motorcycle when the 2wd is engaged? Also, is there an aftermarket "differential kit" available through Ural or a secondary marketer? Thanks.
Great question! It's an old-style 2WD system that does not have a differential. Much like an older jeep you're primarily going to use 2WD to get unstuck and while going straight. You can perform turns however you will feel a good amount of resistance, much like driving in 4WD in some of the mechanical systems available in trucks today- as for differential kits we have not seen one on the market.
I would have the type of handguards that absolutely protect the hands from hitting trees etc. I would also be concerned about rust with all of the additional holes that have been drilled into the bike for mounting racks etc. I assume that stainless fasteners were used. The headlight should have been one designed as an LED headlight similar to those seen on so many bikes now days. Not just an LED bulb. "The oil cooler was designed by URAL of New England without ANY specific data on how much cooling it really does"? Say what? Don't get me wrong, I really like this URAL and the add ons.
Does it have a reverse light? What is the part on the right side of sidecar which is somehow shielded by the black bag, right indicator ? It would be better to relocate the indicator a little bit forward.

wow, and the winch is for hauling out lesser sidecars out of the bush...I've seen the videos. In Georgia, if there is a place for your butt AND feet, that is a legal seat...hang on.
In GA everything has been sold as private property, you cant find a place to take a piss if you need to unless you are in a "designated public park" with accessible entrances and park police vehicles riding up and down already paved road made for any vehicle This is far from being a place this thing is made for. There is just no land left in the U.S. East Coast to concur, clusters and clusters or residential areas that completely cover millions of square miles. In Russia you can go 40 min out of the city major city, stop anywhere, and ride in any direction you want. No fences, no houses, no "private property signs" just open fields, and forest. That is what it was created for
Man, that bike is art. If I were to get one, and I’m seriously considering and scheming now ha ha! I will get one just like this. Just wow!

@@AlphaCarsSomeone installed vertically the winch in between the main bike and sidecar. Which place is better for winch?
@@leoparduspajero8425 a vertical winch could cause the wire windings to gather at the bottom,
Very beautiful Ural.
Why doesn't a disc come on the spare wheel so you can just change the tire
the winch will die first ... put the winch instead of the headlights ... move the headlights to the top of the winch
