      I have a fully remote job (in IT) and believe me its not as great as it seems to be. You lack routine, lack socializing and sometimes its less productive as well. I’ve worked in all three ways - everyday office, hybrid and remote. Hybrid is the best when you have full control over your schedule and you can chose when to go to the office and when not.

    • @LoneWolf-rj1px
      @LoneWolf-rj1px Год назад +18

      @@NikitaWhy Yeah I like that kind of Hybrid where going to the office is non-mandatory and as per each employee's choice. But most of the companies deceive everyone in the name of Hybrid by forcing everyone to the office compulsorily for 3 to 4 days a week. There had been a lot of days where people would just come to the office and have nothing much to do except attend unnecessary meetings. We do not need to come to the office every day. We can only those days when we are feeling bored and want to socialize. The problem is mixing socialization with work leads to a lot of distraction in itself due to one interfering with another through useless gossibs and chit-chats in the office areas.

    First quiet quitting. Then great resignation. Now lazy girl. With different names it's the same thing continuing. People have gradually realizing that no matter how hard you work, even you put 100+ hours per week, getting all the qualifications & certifications to climb ladder; at the end vast majority not going to be in that 1% club. Look at many people in 30s & 40s. Many are sitting on mountain of debts, mortgages, student loans, suffering rise of cost in everything. People are exhausted. Dead tired. No more energy, no hope left to function any further. So some people are taking steps back, simplifying lives, giving up the ideas of climbing the corporate ladder, chasing status, shine in society, chasing lavish lifestyles etc.

Im in my 30s now, and working for state Goverment, we work for 10 hrs a day, sometimes 12-13 hrs with we have to run and be alert on sundays and holidays as well. No officer questions no employees unions come to rescue! We are dead exploited in the name of meagre salary.

    I agree that working from home is convenient and allows for an ideal balance between work and personal life. But when you have a lazy job, despite its income that it brings, are you growing as an individual? What kind of challenges do you face that allows you to grow?

      How much growth does a corporate fulfill for its employees. The current job scenario has taken a toll to physical and mental health. Are you sure that corporate growth caters to its employees as per the current inflation. Several private corporates like IT tech industries have not provided appraisals to its employees for more than 2 years and employees have to shift to another companies every 3 years to retain their decent salary. You are talking about individual growth and it never matters to any corporates.

We actually require multiple revenue sources as the severity of the economic crisis worsens. With the appropriate skills and knowledge of how the market operates, there are many opportunities to make a respectable living in the stock markets and the world of blockchain technology.

      Your assertion is true in every way. Many people continue to become extremely wealthy through the stock and virtual currency markets; all you actually need is some relevant information and professional coaching. During times of extremely high market volatility, investors shouldn't just stand by and watch the markets drop. If you work with an experienced tutor, your portfolio will significantly grow. It is definitely time to work smarter and not harder.
    It’s not about the hours you put in but about the efficiency. Many people work long hours in the office but also waste a lot of time in chitchatting and socializing and other irrelevant stuff. Sometimes they have to otherwise it’s not sustainable. Also, working mothers have a lot in their plates. The work doesn’t just end at the office but continues beyond that and that takes a toll on their physical and mental health.

    We dont see it now, but I guess 5-10 years from now, the shift to hybrid mode of work culture will be single handedly responsible for reduction of many health care issues in 30-50 year old age group such as heart attacks, obesity, hypertension depression or anxiety.
    Also we will see a rise in general happiness especially amongst working women as they get more time for themselves while still achieving career goals and getting enough time to spend with kids. In general health awareness will increase amongst the middle-aged employees, especually in countries like USA, Japan or Korea where working yourself to death is seen as an achievement.
    tPerhaps the greatest boon to society will be decline in air pollution levels. Of course corporates will not want this welcome change in society.. all they care is their expensive glitzy glass buildings are lying empty and they still have to pay their rents!
