- ‘PERFECTION IN EVERY STRAND' - a stunning film that uncovers the process behind the world’s finest carbon bikes.
We use two unique processes in the creation of our frames. Braided Carbon Structures (BCS) - the weaving of dry carbon fibres and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) - the fixing of the fibre into a light and strong frame. This film showcases the full frame building process and the unparalleled quality and expertise that goes into each and every bike.
Very nice and well made frames! Who else is here because of Hambini's recommendation of these frames?
Waiting on his review before i pull the trigger
Hambini is the reason why I don't feel envious about posers in my area riding Cannondale, Trek, and Specialized.
@@Reanimator999 so pro teams are full of “posers”?
@@LifeCycle1978depends on how the posers act.
If you paid 10k+ for a bike that you ride once a month, bragging about how much you paid, yet get dropped by a kid riding a fixie wearing jeans and rolled up cuffs. Definitely a poser.
Besides, pros ride those bikes because they’re freely given by sponsors. They are contractually obligated to ride those bikes.
I am not here because of Hambini. I first saw the manufacturing video of TIME'S forks years ago. I was truly impressed by the difference of the method they use to produce their tubes. Basically they are carbon socks. Whereas everyone else makes pieces and glue them together. Still this video shows the difference between quality and quantity! Anyone ever seen or heard of a TIME frame with similar problems to American branded frames? Nope I did'nt think so. I am an old school bike owner. I have a LITESPEED Ti which is 15yrs old. An SL3 SWORKS 13yrs old. And I am currently thinking of ditching the SWORKS for a TIME( which will be 12/13yrs old) if I buy it. Fingers crossed eh!?
absolutely stunning 🎉
Superb !
Now distribute them ! Dealers ! Marketing !
Don’t worry about the price… people will pay
*Great **Latest.Bike** , good looking, good suspension and love the gearing. I've tested some bikes that were more then twice the price but not as good. Get lots of looks when riding.*
... more than* twice the price ... and Time does not make any frames with suspension, what are you talking about?
I was in the market at this price point and didn’t even consider Time. This video came across my feed and I knew after watching this and doing more research that Time would be my next bike.
I bought an Alpe D'Huez 01 last year, what a bike! To see the effort, passion, and craftsmanship that went into its making is amazing.
Time absolutely make frames of impeccable quality. I’ve have/had Colnago C50, C59 and C60 and a host of other “top frames,” and none are remotely close in overall quality as my 2015 Time NXS. It’s just a magnificent piece of work. I’d not know what to buy for a next frame if Time wasn’t around. Cheers to them.
the question is more why do you need so many of?
This is not merely world's best manufacturing; it's artistry! It's TIME.
Grew up kinda spoiled in the beginning. Had a lot given to me. Family hit bottom and poverty walked hand in hand with us for some time. Gave me a sense of appreciation for hard work.
As I got older and grew into “manhood” I always prided myself on buying what I wanted. Not relying on people to bring me things. This attitude and wisdom has bought me to the point where I’m a simple guy. Who doesn’t ask for much.
But…
I want, and will work and save to get this frame.
I can relate … I trust that “Time” will allow you to achieve your goal. 💫
I bought a time rxr in 2009 and its still a thing of beauty today handmade in france .I don't bother looking at other bikes since nothing comes close to mine even after all its 13 years . a big shout out to Hambini !!!
Blemish free woven CF on show is no easy task, they are proud of their creations. Thamk you for making these beautiful bikes.
Watched the video 3 times and mouth still open. I reckon your R&D and manufacturing departments are way bigger than marketing and thats a really, really healthy thing. But why are you so modest? I bought a Time frame 16 years ago and i only found this video to find out what the secret is. Why is it so unbreakable? Anyway, keep up the good work! A gem on youtube. Greetings from Germany
Please continue to make these superb frames and components for as long as possible!
Excellent well done Time - you are the bastion of pure carbon frame making - magnificent !
Excellent video! And why a TIME is the only carbon frame I would ever purchase.
Holy smokes. Came looking for more info on a RTM process... this video shows the ultimate fusion of cutting edge technology and old-school craftsmanship.
Treated myself to an ADHX frame. As soon as all of the components get here I'll be putting it together as a road bike, can't wait!
This industrial process is just amazing, beautiful. Long life to Time
Beatiful to watch such precision craftsmanship. Very very happy with my 2017 Scylon, which I would still prefer to most, if not all of the other brands’ current premium models. It’s my 3rd Time and it won’t be the last.
I also have s 2015 Skylon w Time bar and Stem. Paired w Sram eTap 11sp, Time pedals and Lightweight tubulars. Couldnt imagine riding anything other than Time. Magical ride!
My 2006 Time VXS is still going strong, fabulous ride. But, may need to upgrade too! Great to see the craftsmanship in action.
By far the best frame in the world. Bravo!
Wow!!!! That is incredible!!! Amazing work from all who work in TIME. An absolute work of art ❤ hope to one day own a TIME frame
That was class, really enjoyed that. Would have been even better to have a longer version.
What a marvelous video, the more I watch it the more I like it! I've been riding a TIME (model RXRS Ulteam) for 10 years and it was the best I ever had.. it still looks like now, not 1 scratch, extremely reliable frame. The new one has been ordered....can't wait to touch and see it
Oh my cycling god! One day ... one day I am gonna have it.
Such a labor intensive process! Is that still how they make carbon bike frames?
I just got an ADHX. I’ve no idea what it’s like to ride yet. The finish is just stunning. I might hang it on a wall and just look at it.
Truly the Artisans of Cycling
Great Video of the process. labour of love!
Brilliant video would love one of these bikes!
Well, that made my day! Outstanding video! 🥂
Beautiful manufacturing process. Thank you for sharing what it takes to create our bikes ! (A proud and happy user of a Scylon Aktiv bought from team Auber 93 a few years ago.)
Industrialism meets artistry. I'm in love! 😊
I’ve had/have three times , edge pulse ,Scylon , Alpe , all are fabulous
Oh! It's magical!!! How much to learn about!
This was so soothing to watch
I love my Time Scylon
fascinating process. great video!
RTM my beloved 😍
Just ordered a Time ADHX in cobalt blue to join the esteemed collection I have- a 1995 Tommasini Velocista (Columbus MAX), a 1997 Bianchi Ti Megatube (titanium), and a 2023 Niner RLT 9 RDO (carbon gravel). The ADHX will be used for 100% road.
Magnifiques procédés de fabrication. En espérant que ces cadres soient de nouveaux fabriqués en France un jour. Bonne continuation.
Where are they being made now?
@@kosta8454 Slovaquie
@@bricejousselin5208 Ce doit être principalement une question de coûts et aussi une question de normes de santé et sécurité moins sévères. La prochaine étape est sûrement d'envoyer la production en Chine malheureusement.
Its just beautiful isn't it...
As beautiful as the bikes themselves!
Beautiful...
A fantastic video of a wonderful manufacturing process! I love the music used in the film. Can you share who it is by? Thank you!
I composed the music specifically for this!
@@NickGoldston Wow! Great work!
Beauty!
Beautiful
yes please!
Impresionante el detalle y calidad del cuadro
Great film about a great product. But why is it so difficult to find information about actually Buying one in this country (UK 🇬🇧)?
Specialized = marketing. Time = engineering and longevity.
They are both……bikes. Nothing more.
@@LifeCycle1978only if you have no soul
Super cool
My respect to the workers, for the bosses please open a stores so we can buy them.
Wow a bike still made in Europe. Please bring some of the craftsman ship to North America. We can barely make anything here anymore.
The best carbon fiber bike frames in the world.
More of a piece pf art than a bike…
The music sounds like Satisfactory PC game main menu theme.
nice video. it's time to go up again
great video. What is the spray they're using on the cf fabric?
Holy crap!
Now...
Now i need TIME🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
100%100 francés 👍👍👍✌️
Maybe Ocean Quest should had there sub made here. 😮
When the new Scylon?
punaise les conditions de travail.... on se croirait au 19eme...
le produit final est magnifique mais bon sang l'usine fait peur...
Superbe 😻

Can you make a Tarmac SL7 in this way to see if there are any differences? From what I can see, there's no carbon layout and it's just a sexy carbon sock with a very high end paint job.
Even in it's wildest dream an SL7 will never compare to a Time bike. The weaving and resin injection techniques used by Time are light years ahead of the competition
@@jpvdw1961 yeh a sexy sock with fancy injection. Still waiting for a world tour team to pick up one of these. Their prices aren't that bad compared to many other brands. It make me wonder why no team is racing it.
@@JFomo c'mon mate... do some homework. Time bikes have been ridden to the podium top spot in the world tour. It's there if ya wanna find it.
@@jpvdw1961 googled Time Bikes World Tour, top results didn't show anything.

French invension and technology, made in Slovakia : )
one day 🤤
2:32 are they melting out the inner mold?!
Yeah, the inner mold is made from wax. It's melted out after the Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process and then the wax is re-cast for other frames or forks.
incroyable
Amazing video. Looks great.
But your painters should learn to wear a mask correctly or their health will suffer from inhaling overspray. Gloves too in a couple of areas.
The time for asking top dollar for a frame set which is made in China is over. Reshoring manufacturing and honesty in the bike industry is here.
...ELCOME TIME FANS!!!
😮
Frame painters don't use much protection.
WOW... ;-)
Suggestion, your clear painter should be using proper mask for protect himself.
not to mention...covering his nose.
need to sell kidney to afford this bike. love how delicate it is built.
i've heard there a discount if you trade in your first born
IMO, they're cheaper than Cannondale frames made in China/Taiwan.
Hope those guys in the paint booth don't shoot clear with their nose exposed 40 hours a week.
From mapdec
Wow! The woven strands look like spiders making their webs!!!!! Boy, handcrafting is far superior to mass produced Chinese garbage😫
If only you made frame sizes for grown-ups (max 58cm…) 😂
OH&S nightmare. @TIME Bicycles fix this or you will get sued to extinction by the workers/surviving family members. No respirators when sanding, no respirators when cutting fiber, no respirators when painting, no gloves when handling loose fiber, etc...
I thought French are strict about respirator and worker safety.
@@Reanimator999 The frames are made in Slovakia!
Hey guys, put on your compliance mask...we are going to make a video....we must submit, who has my copy of Animal Farm and the Anne Frank?
