Great review. Do I understand correct that you have to have the key in the battery while biking? Any risk of it falling out? Also wonder if you could try to operate the display controls with gloves on? Would be nice to see how that works when it gets colder. Really nice looking bike.
Thanks for the great review, i just got mine, After fitting the front tire, when I move the bike without pedalling, it stucks a bit and sounds awful and I can hear it is from the front disk. How to fix this?
Great review! I think this bike looks sleek! But the only concern I have is ghost pedalling. When I tried a cadence sensor, I just hated the fact that you move your feet without resistance (felt a bit stupid tbh). Did you have that feeling on this bike? If yes, how bad it was? Was there some mode where you put some resistance and it went great still?
Thanks! Yeah this bike has that as well, but the PAS setting can greatly effect that, so if you disable PAS then you’re definitely pedaling, if you have PAS to a low setting, and you’re trying to go faster, you will meet resistance
@@landpetlol if you want to give the L20 away, I'm here 😀 I have been looking at the L20 because my town use 24 speed MTB is intensifying my knees arthritis so looking for something to take some of a load off
I just got mine, and did nowhere near the claimed range of 140km ! False advertisement from ENGWE. I know range can vary from rider and conditions, but I got only 40km out of this bike... and only 25km on max settings...... Very very disappointed... All the rest is pretty good, except some gears jumping but this I'm sure I can adjust... I will be writing a complain to the company, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT !
Why does every video that advertises “assembly” speed through the actual assembly as some kind of thrilling EDM montage? That’s the only reason anyone is here.
@ thanks for reply-we did eventually figure it out (I think). The instructions out of the box left a bit to be desired, and being that you’re ultimately zipping down the asphalt on this guy I was trying to find confirmation. a little trial and error got us there in the end. Wishing you well.

I bought a pink one today, but if I don't use the pedal it stops. do you need to set something on it?
It’s a fabulous bike! I am SO happy with mine!!
Awesome

Yes the key needs to be in for pedal assist. It can't be removed unless it's turned back. It's kind of like a car key with the ignition
so when you take the key out the battery is not locked ?
Battery is locked

Maybe your brake disc is touching. There's videos on youtube on how to adjust brake discs.
Great review!

Thanks for the answer. So, medium speed - medium effort is still ghost pedaling. @@landpet
what do you do with all the scooters and the bikes
I keep them for a while, sometimes I compare them to others and do long term reviews. I have also given some away to family/friends

My front tire didn't come with the bolts and washers :(
How much extend the range of the trip if I put the Anker 757 charging station on the trunk?
I don’t think you can charge will riding, not sure but hasn’t crossed my mind
which one is better L20 or L20 SE?
i GOT MINE yesterday :)
awesome!
Did you add the water bottle holder?
yes
Is the handle bar adjustable?a bit higher
No
@@landpet that’s verry unfortunate from engwe ,got the bike yesterday delivered and already want to get riding it because of this low handle bar
how is the height of the bike?
Normal, very comfortable for me personally
how do you unlock it 🔓
Using the key, there’s a demo in the video

really
You got 40km on pedal assist or fully electric. Please clarify
@MuhammadAbuzar-ro2ts all on electric. Pedal assist doesn't help much, it's usually ghost pedaling... but the bike is super fun, I really enjoy it.
Others have said the L20 is 250W to make it road legal in UK and other countries.
In the US, it's much more powerful
Is the same
I see all review but no one ask like this bike is tubeless tyer or not?
I haven't checked but I think there would be a tube. It's usually the scooters that are tubeless.
Price
It's around 1K, can't remember specifically. I thought I put a link in the description section
@@landpetis it worth the money ?
@@MrAstraldreamer if you like the shape, it's a very good e-bike. yes it's worth it.
requiring the key to be installed to use the battery power is a flaw
This one requires it, some don't
@@landpet yes I have Engwe Pro
I think it’s a great, anti-theft feature. I like the ignition key.
bikes are easy to steal no matter what
The nut on the metal rod ifor the front wheel s very soft metal when I put it on it broke to bits now the bike is fucked
send it back its still under warranty
Chinesium
Very strange this ebyke supose to be 250w now is 750w
Maybe in other markets?
Yes, diff markets. It seems the EU has speed and even throttle restrictions. I don't know the specifics.
Very through review.
I appreciate it!

Maybe what I should do is make a separate assembly video and have one for the review

I would ride this to work if I didn't have to get on the highway
Yeah, it's great for commuting but not for highways
My L20 will only do 6 miles on a full charge. I've asked for a refund and been met with a lot of BS.
with just throttle? Throttle only, it won't go long, it goes much longer on PAS1
