We build like a house tree and we use to spend our time there after school! I miss those times and I would do everything to go back for 30 minutes and experience everything again! 🤗
I'm 29 too, and it really hit home with me, esp turning 30 next year makes it seem bigger! I have a few places which made my childhood, one being my old houses garage which me and my friends would just always hang in. So wish I could go in there again with them all and talk all night!

I know and I remember during Zoe's first beauty launch a couple of years ago. Alfie's dad Nick and Zoe's dad Graham were together most of the night. I love that their families get along so good.

too bad I had lots of anxiety when taking risks when I was younger. I once climbed the oldest tree in my town and hung upside down... I fell on my head and bled. a lot. it hurt a lot. hence me no longer taking risks when I was a kid
I still do but it's more anxiety over everything possible

The beginning of the video made me so emotional. The place where I spent most of my childhood used to be a huge field and now it's a settlement. All the memories...ahhh me and my cousin also had "our tree" but it's now gone. Sadly, nothing looks the same anymore. Wish I could go back there as you can x

We had some bush land at the end of the street I lived on, and the older kids had made it into a bike track/cubby with jumps etc. All the kids in town used to all meet up down their all the time. I spent most of my afternoons and weekends down there with friends. When I go back there now you can still see all the tracks but it's all over grown and unused. It's sad to see it kind of abandoned, but it holds a lot of memories :)
I lived in Edinburgh all my life and I had a house that was in a really bad area people were getting robbed but gramond beach is a good beach but not so clean and my child hood memory was a tree with the roots out so you could climb to the top

oh Alfie, I wish I could go back to a childhood spot, but I moved out of state 17 years ago and only get home two or three times a year. My parents have done major renovations at their house and I know that will kill me to go home at Christmas and see all the changes. Home isn't even remotely the same as when I was a kid and I'm with you, I wish I could just go back and have one day in my childhood to relive. Your nostalgia is sweet and made me really miss my family.

I've lived in the same house for the past 22 years, I have great memories here. Outside the back of our house, there is a small tree and I could never climb it as a child, I couldn't even reach the branches! I went out there with my own son, who will be 2 in January and it was amazing to see the next generation in the same spot that I was all those years ago. I played out there with my friends until 8 at night, we would play 1-2-3 in, manhunt, polio, postman and a game someone invented where the entire area would be a city or town. For instance, the great big doughnut hill was a bank and the flowers were gold and the grass was money. We certainly had a wild imagination but I loved it. Even today walking by, I can picture myself there playing. And here I am now, 22 and a mother myself. Great! 😊👍🏻

ive been going to skegness every year since i was like in my mams stomach, thats my childhood place. its really cool because theres bowls finales there (like the bowling on a green) so there like a huge amount of people on my dads team that go and we're like a big family

I just went back to the place where I grew up, a 10-hour journey by car. My house and garden looked the same but everything else was changed. All my climbing trees were gone, there were new houses where there had been a pond, and my elementary (primary) and junior high schools had both been torn down because of a terrible flood in 2011. Still, a couple of my friends still live there and, although I left when I was 18, it will always be home to me.

One of my favourites of yours! Loved this vid. I loved how sentimental the beginning was and then leading into a night filled with family of fun. And I had no idea saying "candy" is a thing we say here in the states! I never knew or it never struck me that there were other ways of stating there's candy.
