DECIDED I WANTED A LATE NIGHT DRINK.
And trying out this Gopro! Do you like this perspective? Should we use it during Tutorials? Comment Below!
Eagle eye viewers will notice this shot ran fast. It was the dial in shot but I like to use every opportunity!
I'm sorry, but surely it's illegal to do whatever you did at 0:06 and NOT give us a tutorial on how to do it. That shizz was 🔥🔥 (sorry in advance to the portafilters I will inevitably drop trying to perfect this move xoxo)
Since you asked I will deliver!
Reduce the video's playback speed; I'm sitting here picking apart the motions as well lol, super fun flourish
That move put the ooh face on me and resonated with the whole mood and ooooo wee, clean ☺
That is in-cre-di-ble. All movements are so smooth and accurate! Brilliant work! 👌
I am a bit of a workflow nerd so this is awesome to see!
Oh yeah! Love this!
I literally can watch this video over and over again ..🔥
So good as always.
Wonderful POV video. 👍🏻
Thanks. 🙏🏻
Woooooo! Lighting is so sick
Beautiful 🙌🏽
Love the grinder. 😊👍
Champion is champion, all actions are so clean, no extra movement, 👍 will keep learn from you
This is straight up a Christmas present for anyone with eyes :):):) absolutely smashing setup, workflow and that final product: FREAKING MAGICAL WIZARDRY !!! 🧙♀️
THANKYOU! Super appreciate the love! Since you all liked this I will for sure make more posty posts like this in the future.
Smooth 😎, and I'm really digging the vibe from your whole set up. 👌👌
Thank you! It's an ever changing vibe. Nighttime is the best.
High quality content.
Nice video, I like the look from the above perspective! I was slowing down at 0:06, gotta learn that move haha!
This is a whole ass vibe.
This satisfies my introverted nature to the max! I love workflow and efficiency in motion. Thank you for another cool video! Deck the halls with loads of coffee! MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL. ~From Sydney, Australia.
P.S. What is your favorite coffee bean to drink?
Favorite is everchanging but I really enjoy fun stuff like Pacamara, Most Costa Rican coffees, and Kenyan coffee is the bomb.
Merry Christmas from NYC!
😍😍😍
Hey Emilee, yes yes we do like this perspective! I love what you do. The portafilter behavior in your hands is terrific. What is grinder do you have? Thank you.
Really like the ambiance, you make it seens so easy and beautiful, really love it ❤
Oh one ladt question, what espresso machine your using? Thx
hell yeah
just: 😍🤤
Portafilter twirl was smooth af
Thanks! Many have died attempting. Including myself.
I'm binge watching all your videos and OMG YES! I'm so glad I found you ☺️ started geeking out on coffee over the last 2 years (casually) but now I just got a major bump in my coffee game cause I got a grinder that can actually grind (as opposed to that airplane sounding 30$ one I had off amazon for 6 years 😳 I can finally start pulling something decent!
I wanted to make the best coffee I could with the worst equipment available 😂 got to something sortof decent after a while so now WATCH OUT
Hi! just out of curiosity what grinder did you end up getting? I'm looking for one to buy as well but would like a recommendation :)
@@rachelmarie5300 I ended up going with the Niche Zero. I like it a lot and my complaints are just workflow related. I'm a bit annoyed that there is still some grind retention and that I had to purchase one of those silicone cupping cups to push air through, that the power cord is so short, and that the dosing cup didn't fit my particular grouphead. So I'm going to 3D print a dosing ring and adapter to make it fit. But overall I'm pleased
... you're like so cool
Wow wow wow 🤩 everything was so cool
But where can I get a glass like that ?
Is there a link to get one ?
Amazing 👍🏻
What grinder?
What scale are you using? It looks cool
What espresso machine is this?? The steam lever thing is cute
More workflow please!
How did you set the machine to pause then start again? Mine doesn’t do that 😕
Is that portafilter staying put on the grinder because of the double spout? 🧐
Beautiful! Just got my own espresso machine this week, and gearing up to start my latte art journey! lol.
I know you use a 22 oz pitcher for pouring, whats the size on the pitcher you use for frothing?
Please go through all the gear you typically use!
What’s the difference between double espresso button and a single one? Just the fact that you can set the timer for it? You turned it off manually, that’s why I’m asking!
what espresso machine are you using?
do you find it easier to start the winged base with a push as opposed to pushing while rippling?
Great question! I tend to lean push base then wiggle, however there is quite a few ways to start the pour. I like this way because it fills the cup nicely and creates a dramatic frame in the base. The longer you hold the blob before the push, the bigger it will be and the bolder the frame will be. At the end of the day it's a visual preference.
Going to make a base comparison video pretty soon. Its a big one since it requires tons of reference pours on camera lol. But soon!
What brand is the grinder you are using?
Hi can I ask you what kind of glasses do you use?
Those double walled glass is dope! And the vid is awesome too!
Looks like kruve imagine glasses to me
What weight/timer scale do you use! Please link! 🙏 thank you!
Hey Emilee, I'm just beginning to learn about Latte Art and absolutely love your videos. Thank you!
One question: Why did you pour your steamed milk from one pitcher into a second one? Is it to mix the foam phase with the liquid phase?
Hello and welcome! I transfer for a few reasons actually! I have a video on the subject (i think it was my first video on pitchers) There are a few reasons why so I'd recommend checking it out. I wouldn't encourage anyone to make this a workplace bar flow but rather for yourself or at home (there is not enough time at a busy cafe to be transferring milk all day lol )
@@EmileeBryant thank you for your quick response! Will be checking out that video asap
Brang it!
you should make the video about latte art in a Starbucks pitcher you talked about in ur first video
That's a pretty long extraction. I also prefer a longer extraction than the text book 25 seconds or so. Super cool vibe🤞🤩
To say whether a shot is long or short depends on the coffee used. So to say that you must know the beans used and the recipe?
I think this shot actually finished in 20 seconds however I didn't stop the scale. Also I didn't have my smaller scale with me so that chunky one doesn't really fit well hence my struggle at the end. Anyway! Happy Holidays!
coffee asmr ( nice switch to the oscar?/arduino?)
Might be too good at latte art 😂
Very cool!
What camera were you using? How was it mounted???
Hello! I am using the Go Pro 10 and a chest mount here. It's super new to me and I'm excited to use it more for videos!
@@EmileeBryant that’s a great way to film your own latte art. Thanks!
@@EmileeBryant I just ordered a chest mount and a gooseneck that goes behind the neck and holds the phone out in front. Hopefully one or both will make filming my latte art much more convenient. I’ll be posting in the subreddit you linked to in your last video if it works out. 🙂
Thanks for the idea!
@@EmileeBryant great angle and mounting setup! More please :)
is it better to use two milk pitcher?
For me It is more about pouring with a larger pitcher. (but the volume of milk would be too low to steam in large pitcher thus the transfer to large, post steaming) Bigger pitchers are wider so the foam can stretch out more and moves more fluidly/ less stiff. also a bigger pitcher can get closer to the surface of the coffee sooner in the pour without milk spilling out.
Maybe you did already told us but which machine are you using ??? 🙃
Oscar 2 at the minute, she said her Silvia is getting fixed!
@@joconnell Thanks JOC! Yes currently we are using an Oscar II. Down the line I will try to get a few different lower end machines to really widen the tutorials on the channel.
@@EmileeBryant whatcha think of it? It seems like all the e61 / heat exchangers are a bit inconsistent / finicky on temperatures, any different with the oscar?
@@EmileeBryant Late to the party but that would be great. Would love to see a gaggia tutorial
EMILEE!!! what cup size is that thx :)
I’m this case an 8oz but I typically use 6oz (I like a challenge so small haha)
why the blue light? cant see the real color of things
You’re like the Tom Cruise of coffee…
LOL! I'm taller!
