  • I took a train ride on the ‪@thewatercressline‬ in #Hampshire with a few friends, and thought I’d share my experience here!
After being picked up at #Rownhams Services, we made our way to #Alresford, and boarded the beautiful steam train.
The half hour journey made brief stops at #Ropley and #Medstead & Four Marks before ending at Alton.
We then popped into a very quiet #Alton for a bite to eat, before heading back to the Station for the return journey.
How was the day? Have a look. And feel free to share YOUR experiences in the comments section below.
    Thank you!
I'm Rob Trent, Director of AccessAdvisr.
I was born with arthrogryposis, a condition affecting the joints and muscular development. I have had a personal interest in improved accessibility for many years.
Thank you to HeX Productions and SPECTRUM CIL for their support.

Hate steep train ramps. Sadly it still be a problem even on modern trains. East Midland Rail & Cross Country trains for example, I should be given a mountain climbing medal for getting up those.

Agree. Even on 'old' services like this there are things that could be done to improve the experience, without ruining the aesthetic.
