I love this kind of video! But as a Brazilian I must say you should have included exotic pet trade in the spix macaw one, since it was also a great cause for its extinction. But don’t worry, your videos are amazing!
@@TsukiCove Thank you! Keep up the amazing work! The last days were being quite stressful to me, but every time I saw one of your videos I instantly got better. The quality of your videos is really impressive!
As a brazziliam too I agree with Arte sem Enrolação, both in the part you should have included the illegal pet trade with the desapereance of the spix macaw and that you channel is amazing.
I like the idea of those undercover agents involved in conservation for the snow leopard. Other than police and security, there should also be undercover conservation people. Think about somebody who's fishing or hunting and looks like the average type. But that person actually works or volunteers for conservation efforts. That way they have the opportunity to report and capture poachers without the poachers knowing who the person was the whole time.
Great videos. My suggestion is a series on 5 rarest/most threatened animals in specific areas. Maybe something that people in those areas can become active about. Great work
The prewalski horse is the only living wild horse that is not a breed but a subspecies. The tarpan also existed, but it is extinct, and unfortunately the tarpan is nowhere on the list of extinct animals that scientists want to bring back (why that?) And the tarpan is not on the list of animals that have been bring back from extinction
it is fair to remark that even though the panda has become the poster child for conservation, china is now facing some scrutiny because there's simply not enough bamboo forest to house them. so even though their numbers are more stable u wont see the in their native regions because they all have to be relese in the same small forest, also when the forest dies off because of its reprodution cycle the goverment needs to step in to feed the pandas.
I love this kind of video. Brings me hope we can turn the table to save other animals. Just one pick, try to find reptiles, amphibians, fish and insects that were saved from extinction. Since this groups are ofthen overshadew by the birds and mammals

Since you mentioned the horse, it may be a good time to do a video on endangered animals in Ukraine. I've been watching the news, and I've thought about the domestic animals, but now I'm thinking about any endangered animals that are at risk. Of course, sadly people may turn it into an opportunity to make political statements, rather than keeping comments about animals.
@@TsukiCove it would be an open discussion of what could be lost biodiversity wise with this invasion. Please don't let the scaremongering of others stop you from speaking truths. The world needs speakers now than ever before
About 10ish years ago I got to see some the last wild horses (I'm pretty sure they were American though) in captivity. I wonder if their breeding efforts paid off 🤔. They looked just like these wild horses and I thought thats what they were. Very cool video, I like seeing conservation efforts pay off 🥰

I am lucky that on of my local zoos the Brookfield zoo has a pair of retired female Przewalski Horses. Sadly there third Przewalski's Horse died of old age.
What about the european bison, from 50 inviduals after ww2 to near 7k across 20 countries in europe(number maybe lower now due to the war in Ukraine) thanks to rewilding,i hope the white rhino makes a comeback too which will be difficult cuz only 2 inviduals are left(2 females)

Ironically, the most prevalent reason the species survived was because of the illegal pet trade, check out the story of Martin Guth
Small update there has been a flock of spix macaws released in Brazil fairly recently and it is expected they'll start breeding come spring

That’s racist!
Asiatic lions are the other example only 20 of them where alive in wild and now reached a population over 500 after many years of conservation

a male polar x female polar = pizzly.
