Absolutely. The way Trump tried to tell people he was being told their was a virus from China in March 2020 and he gave a hospital ship and supplies to New York. He fought too hard for New York by telling Democrats the truth when their elected leaders forced nursing homes to take the ill against Republican advice. Eventually, Trump let New York govern themselves to death, but why did he bother telling them the truth for so long? Trump never forced himself like a dictator would, but he also reached out to people who didn’t wanna hear the truth or they literally rejected the help that should’ve been stayed gone to a different state that would’ve use the isolation ship and supplies. If democrats in New York want to believe a President that says their is a virus from China is racism, then that President should take away the ship and supplies he had given them, he should do a better job picking and choosing his battles. Let Democrat states suffer the consequences of their choices. Agreed.

First of all, I doubt Trump was even watching the show. His social media team probably sent that on his behalf. Secondly, does anyone realize all Trump wants is attention? When Kimmel invoked his name (and his Truth Social post) and took that verbal shot at him, Trump probably giggled with glee. He doesn't care if people are talking about him positively or negatively. As long as people are talking about *him*, he's happy.
The moral of the story: When you give Trump attention, you're giving him exactly what he wants. He'd have been angrier if his name didn't come up at all during the Oscars.
