This will be very misleading to those who don't know better, and may spend their hard earned cash on an exhaust (the Toce was one of them) that they will expect to get that inline 4 sound from, which is impossible with ANY EXHAUST on a parallel twin.

That TOCE look! And I've already heard how it sounds ON a 400 in other vids so this only confirms my choice. Mufflers looking big and clunky, taking up all that real estate on the back end is really a turn off for me. I don't care what they sound like, it's the look. TOCE has the look I'm after, low, mean sounds, and not to mention color match for my bike. Win, win, and more wins!
The toce razor tip full exhaust is definitely the best sounding one but it's around $800-$900. All the leovince ones are the loudest but they also sound pretty good in my opinion and are much more reasonably priced.
The Toce and Lextek arent N400s. Those are for sure sounds from an inline 4. An exhaust, even a full system, isn’t going to dramatically smooth out the signature parallel twin sound.

Hindle Evo Megaphone sounds incredibly well. Maybe its looks are a bit different, but I like it. The best exhaust in here followed by Akrapovic Carbon IMO.
the best sounding exhausts on this list were obviously mixed with inline 4 cylinder clips. the best sounding ninja 400 twin exhaust in my opinion is the leo vince one evo. there is nothing you can do to make it sound like an inline super sport. but good job on the video i think i found my exhaust for my lil scoot around ninja 400
Stock exhaust actually sounds nice at high revs. Racing sound. Most of the exhausts brands sounds nice and full at low revs but it compromises the sound at high revs killing that racing feel.
Great video on a wide range of exhaust systems for the 400 club. The only issue are the recordings were not all recorded the same that created a lot of variables. Still great video but favorites some brands over others. Imho

When I hear a better exhaust sound than the Akrapovic Carbon in person I'll buy it. I have one now and it's the best sounding you can buy. The closest second best I've heard in person is The Leo LV-10. The high revving 4 cylinder engines in this video used for some exhaust sounds here are not what you will hear on a ninja 400.
i really like the sound of the Lextek xp8c.. i just want to ask if the sound really comes from the Ninja 400?? i can't find any other review with this exhaust on a ninja 400.. just wondering because it's sounds like an inline 4.. and i love the sound..
Have you done any other mods to your 400? I am seriously looking at getting one, and trashing the factory exhaust is a no-brainer for just about any bike. For me, being in my late 50s, I have no need to do Warp 9 on a freeway, or be a wheelie fool. I would, however, like more power. I am ready to head out this weekend to buy the Ninja. How do you like yours?
Some of these are not the ninja 400.... like the toce for example... my neighbor had an r1 with a toce exhaust so I know that wasnt a clip of a 400cc anything

Mivv mk3 carbon if it is from a Ninja 400 it sounds really good at low and high revs. Same for the spark racing full and Two Brothers Slip.
