I am so happy with the Btech UV-Pro as well. It is the same radio and software. APRS is now so easy with android phones. now I am running APRS everywhere I go. I am finding it to be fun with less frustration. 🙂

We don't use VARA FM with the setup. This works with packet connections.

Not yet. It's still not a comparison until VGC gets APRS messaging sorted out and working like it should.
