I hate I missed the Q&A on your community page!!!! You know I’d load you up on questions!!!! 😂 I totally forgot to look on that page!
You certainly have that pregnancy glow!!!❤
I can’t believe your baby could come any day!! Most of my babies were early. Some 2 weeks early. Still weighed 7lb 2oz at 2 weeks early!
I had about the same testing. 1st ultrasound to determine due date/ how far along I was. Around 8 weeks. Then again at the 18-20ish week for organ check, like yours. I did the sugar test. We drink that sugary drink and then have blood drawn. Thankfully I never had gestations diabetes.
So funny you mentioned cheesecake!!! I just made one on Thursday!! I love cheesecake!!
I love being surprised at the gender! Life has so few surprises now with all our technology, it’s so nice to not know what you are having.
It’s so weird that I experience a lot of the same stuff you do in Israel!! I got a lot of push back from ladies in my church about having a lot of children. 😢 I don’t know if it was a feminist thing??? But a lot of people at my church didn’t not encourage large families. But it seems like in America people are going for 3 kids, instead of 2. Kinda depends on your denomination too. Catholic would be more accepting of large families. Protestant, not so much. But this is just my experience. But I’m glad I had a big family❤ I think you need to do whatever you and your husband want to do. G-d truly can provide for you. G-d will guide you on how many children to have and when to stop, if you ask Him. ❤
    Questions-
Will your husband be in the delivery room with you?
What is the average stay at the hospital for birth? C-sections?
For us, about 2 days. C-section is a least 3 days. If you have that Group B strep, you usually stay 48 hours to make sure baby is ok. And you have to have IV antibiotics during labor, to protect baby. (If I remember correctly. Was 7 years ago for me)
Do you plan on natural, epidural, pain meds? NO judgment here! You do whatever you need to do to get through it!! 😂
When I found out I was having my 4th, I cried because I didn’t want to go through labor and delivery again!! 😂 Made it through 4 babies no pain meds or epidural. 5th, I said no way. Going for epidural! 6th had epidural. I wish I had gone natural for the last 2 because I still have this weird place in my back that will be a little sore from the epidural. Maybe it’s scar tissue?? Will feel tight in that spot.
How much do your babies usually weigh?
How long have your labors been?
So cool hospitals fight for you to deliver with them! Home births are kinda popular here. But most people I know deliver in hospital.
Ok my friend! It’s 12:42am and I need to go. I worked tonight. I’m praying for you!! My heart sank when I heard about the drone rockets from Iran. Praying for Israel! Much love to you and your family!!
    ❤Karen

Ya I'm sure you would have great questions! 🎉
Yum cheese cake!! soooo good!! Seems like a lot of work though, no? (at least the way my mom makes it😅) or do you have an easy recipe?
I have a friend like that, modern Orthodox Jewish who also feels that some of the women in her community look funny at her for having 5 small kids. You're amazing with your 6 beautiful children !
      about your questions!
-My husband will def be with me in the delivery room :)
-Hospital stay is same here, also about 2 days for regular birth, 3 days for C-sections.
-I plan on natural, not that I have any strong convictions about that ☺That is just what I did previously and worked well.🙏 My babies are ~6.5 lbs.
Wow sounds annoying about that sore!!
Thanks for your comments and questions and of course your prayers mean so much to me! Thank you!

    🎉❤ Baruch HaShem baby #4!!
You see how our Calendar has different months, in the birth certificate, will it say Nissan or April, or both dates?

    • @tamarmeisels4637
      @tamarmeisels4637  6 месяцев назад +1

🥰Yes great question! Thanks for bringing up! In Israel the birth certificate will generally have both dates. Mostly used in Israel for all purposes is the regular dates, while the Hebrew dates are included in state letters/ documents.
And of course in case of a boy, the bris mila will be head on the 8th day, according to the Hebrew date :) (starts from sunset)

Here’s my cheesecake recipe- adapted from different sources 😊
Crust- 24 Oreo cookies and 3 tablespoons of melted butter
Crush Oreos and drizzle the butter over cookies and mix to make it like sand
Wrap springform pan in foil (on the outside) and spray the pan with nonstick spray. Line the bottom and sides with parchment paper.
Press Oreo mixture into pie pan (springform pan) and bake about 8 min at 350 F
    Cheesecake:
4 blocks of cream cheese (8 ounces each block)
    1 1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    5 eggs at room temperature
    1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Mix cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and salt until blended. Add eggs one at a time. Add lemon juice, mix.
Pour cheesecake mixture into cooled off Oreo crust.
    Bake 350 F for 45 min
Then bake at 325 F for 35-40 min
I don’t do the water bath because it leaks into my cheesecake. I put a roasting pan or casserole dish with boiling water on the rack below the cheesecake so it creates moisture in the over to help prevent cracking.
Directions say to mix everything with an electric mixer. But I tend to over mix and it adds too much air into the cheesecake. So I find mixing by hand creates a better texture.
Curious to see if your aunt’s recipe is similar 😊❤

@@tamarmeisels4637it is!!! But all those ingredients are expensive and the cheesecake itself is very rich, so you can’t eat a whole lot at one time. So I don’t make it often 😊
