update: i met steve in october 2015! he came out to watch the performers at gleason gra. his team noticed me crying when i saw him. steve & i talked and cried for a minute or so lol. one of the craziest moments of my life.
I chose this documentary on a plane coming home Monday. I love football so, thought I'd watch it. I cried through the entire movie. This was such a huge inspirational movie and yet so sad to see such turmoil a family can go through. Love loved it! Thanking my lucky stars today and everyday! Good Luck to the entire family and hopefully they find a cure for this debilitating disease!!!
I'm a 37 year man's man (no homo) and this clip made tears come rolling out of my eyes!!!!! God bless you Steve and I pray that hopefully you and your son River have a chance to enjoy each other.
Just stumbled across this guy on Instagram on a post by Chad smith from the red hot chili peppers, after watching videos of Gleason in it I can't believe how horrible it all is 😔so sad to see a guy have to go through that and into what he is like now 😔
