I just happened upon your documentary on prime tv. You are an amazing person. The tenacity and perseverance is astounding. Your wife is a gem. She is just as tenacious as you. Together you are unstoppable. You're what I see as a power couple. I've had my own health issues that started way too young as well. As bad as they are, it's nothing comparable to what you and your family are dealing with. I'm so glad I found your story. It's inspiring. Thoughts hugs prayers for you and your family.
Ordinarily I disdain the whole "I got X disease/problem and now I care" but godamn there's just something so vulnerable and tragically beautiful about an athletic titan reduced to a helpless prison of flesh. Börje Salming getting a standing ovation in a room with more Olympic and VM medals per capita than anyone ever still brings me to tears. Whereever, whenever, you go Gleason I hope you join the great combine of heroes. You seem to truly have deserved it.
He's done so much for the community but it saddens me that the vast majority with this condition can't experience the amazing moments like sky diving or machu pichu due to money
