I have been a serious collector for 6 years and it is quite massive as well. What people don't understand is that it doesn't happen over night. Huge collections like this takes time and sacrifice. I am by no means rich, but by saving and cutting out unnecessary expenses it is possible. But anyways, wonderful colllection! :]
OMG you are back. I remember watching your reviews on figures like 7 years ago when i was a child and even showing them to my mother. Then you were so busy with university that you allmost stoped posting entirely and I somehow lost track of you after that.
I just wanted to say, thank you so much for being back. I remember how much I loved your Figma reviews back then.
It´s so rare to find someone who does this quality contend for his reviews, no matter if its a talking kyubey figurine or a 300$ figure.
Just subscribed, this made my day (obessed collector of nearly everything under the sun here).

I love this video!!! I'm moving to a bigger house and my husband, our 3 kids and I are anime freaks ( our oldest kid is 5 her room is themed after sailor Mercury) many people think is weird that I'm a 26 mom of 3 and I love anime! But I don't care!! ^__^ ❤️

When I was younger, I wanted to fill my room with anime and manga stuff like yours. But now, I'd rather spend my money on a fewer collection that I really, really enjoy and touring Japan.

i just happened to pass by this video realizing your room was the most majestic thing I have seen in my life i now dedicate all of money to have my own room like yours! lol
haha, I understand so much how you can feel when you finally can have a room for your collection !! it's actually amazing when you get one... but after it's always a very unique feeling each time you step in your room. it's your very own kind of sanctuary and there is nothing similar, even when you can have some glass cabinet to put your stuff !

You have a pleasant otaku room , the big space play a big part to display your items , my otaku room sadly is small, some how i managed to organize my item but i am not 100% satisfied , well i still love it

THATS really a LOT of anime collections you got since you were young and thats what you call Otaku indeed. Your actually lucky to display most of your anime collections rather than keeping them in a storage room or boxes like me. Even after we moved house and had my own room,my room is NOT as big as yours to display everything. And I agree what you said at the end of your video about concerning what/which anime stuffs you only need to buy due to the fact nowadays anime stuffs are EXPENSIVE to preorder/buy. So I ONLY buy the anime stuffs that I know I will use them often than seldom. And 1 question i like to ask you about the Ichiban Kujis you got, will you ever do a preview on them and maybe record your live reactions?

In terms of Kamen Rider, I honestly find W, OOO, Wizard, Gaim, and Ghost the interesting ones. In other words, the Neo-Heisei stuff are pretty interesting in my opinion.

What's your opinion on the mainstream shonen anime (one piece, bleach, naruto, fairy tail and dragon ball to be exact) and will you do any more reviews on gurren lagaan (or remaster your old one since that one was rushed and, no offense, low quality)

Wow. This is pretty fucking cool. I've been wanting to start a big collection of figures (from both anime/manga and american media) and manga novels and stuff, and I've started with a few manga volumes, some Funko Pop's, and 4 neat statues of something that isn't japanese but still look cool and would fit in with an anime collection. The first "Real" figures that I plan to collect soon are the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Super Action Statue figures.

What a nice collection! Glad to see actual Japanese anime merch that is non-Viz Media, non-NISA, etc. Have you considered getting any merchandise from the slice-of-life series YuruYuri? I have a good bit. And since you mentioned Comiket, I have a YuruYuri Nachuyachumi wall scroll that debuted at Comiket 87 in December 2014. It's pretty rare and worth having IMO.
Haha, thanks! Since I don't live in the US, I directly import (most) of my stuff from Japan. Some I get from local stores and they get their stuff from Japan. (^.^)

some of them are indeed my fav. how you juggle with everything? my case, i love to collect lots of stuffs, be it pc related, gadgets, figmas, gundams, stamps, coins etc. you name it. i will have if not more at least some of them in my collection. also another question. what about private love life? what your partner may think of you? i tend to slow down on anime related stuffs but currently went berserk on collecting apple old school stuffs.

Awrite Actar Help me out here... I've been looking into the soul of chogokin spec evangelion figures and i wanna purchase one. I noticed that at your evangelion shelf that you have the soc spec eva 00 tv anime version (the blue version of eva 00). Ive got the very first soc spec eva 01 figure and the right shoulder joint broke, the left one is loose as all hell and the connector that houses the torso balljoint broke. So I wanna ask: Since eva 00 is the XS-09, were there any improvements in overall design of the inner bodies that the evas use? Are the joints tight yet smooth when posing the blue eva 00 and does the torso joints(either the ball or the area that houses the ball joint) feel loose? Thanks if you read the whole thing and answered the question. (lol)
especially on the shoulder joints (cuz on my xs-01 eva 01 the material looks thin) and the torso joints.

Hi, I had a question! While my collection is no where near the size of your I have quit a lot of Games, DVD's, Consoles, and Figures that are all just in wooden cabinets. I'm tired of not having my collection on display, especially my figures. Could You recommend some shelving for my figures? I noticed you had quite a few different kinds of shelving for your figures. I'm completely lost and haven't been able to find anything too good where I live.
Hm... many of the shelves you see are DIY or custom made, but you can definitely get Detolfs from Ikea. Those always work beautifully. (^.^)
Bestas from Ikea are great too. (^.^)
everyone has recommended detolfs to me. they seem too small (I feel the shelves should be longer.) I've seen some acrylic display cases on ebay. Idk how acrylic would look. in the pictures they look pretty similar to glass cases. But pictures can always be deceiving.
