_"All People's have the right to self defence from Colonial rule, including armed resistance"_
      UN Charter: Protocol 1
Call for Government by People's Referenda:
Peaceful Encampment of our Capitals until it's installed, or run Mascot Candidates
Single Issue Referendums with thresholds and a social contract means Communities can vote their own laws.
A Public Authority can audit police and prosecute bad cops in our own courts.
Nationalise resources and give Indigenous peoples the right of Sovereignty over them as Guardians.
This can be achieved through a General Strike or Velvet Revolution, much like the Occupy movement, peacefully occupying State Buildings until a People's Mandate can be implemented.
With the appropriate checks and balances, you could have a national digital forum where qualified professionals can debate the issues in a public setting without all the disinformation and bad faith antics, hatespeech etc.
Any vote would need to pass the 70% threshold, with a veto or _rewrite_ vote needing 30%.
The issues would be debated, the public educated, and then a vote taken. Votes that fail will have to wait a year before trying again. Any new proposal (Citizen Initiated Referendum) would have to reach a threshold of support before it made it onto the register.
This would be subject to a Social Contract (New Constitution) that forbids human rights abuses and discrimination.
That can be written in the same manner based on the core principles we all share. Councils and Boards could operate in the same fashion at Scale.
It works in a way that obligates people to better educate themselves ( that is to use logic and evidence in their reasoning ) for a better understanding of the issues, and then take collective responsibility for the outcomes. As opposed to the divisive US v them scapegoating and bi-partisan finger pointing the current Capitalist Pyramid Scheme runs on.
      Enough is enough
We need a Party of Peace: Government by People's Referenda, either through Mascot Candidates or Peaceful Encampment of the Capitals until one is established.
Make it an annual March on Oct 14
Under a single white flag 🏳️
      You can copy/share 🙏
It's about Peace and Democracy; don't give them anything to twist
Done without shouting or banners, this strategy cannot be stopped once in motion
      It's time to #DECOLONISE 🕊️

It was the already wealthy land owners that forced the king to sign MC, to protect themselves from abuse by the crown. The peasants were still seen as serfs as proven by the 1351 "Statute of Labourers" that basically chained peasants to the land owners in the county they lived in, no free movement, essentially slavery. The Magna Carta, signed in 1215 by King John of England, is a famous historical document that established the principle that everyone, including the king, was subject to the law. However, it did not state that "all men are created equal." This phrase is famously associated with the United States Declaration of Independence, written in 1776.

He’s just invented most of what he says here:
The principle of "innocent until proven guilty" has deep historical roots, but its codification into law occurred over time through various legal traditions and documents.
    ### **Ancient and Medieval Origins:**
    - **Roman Law:** The principle can be traced back to Roman law, particularly in the works of the jurist Julius Paulus Prudentissimus (c. 3rd century AD). He wrote that "proof lies on him who asserts, not on him who denies," which reflects an early form of this concept.
    - **Medieval European Law:** The principle was further developed in medieval Europe, particularly within the canon law of the Catholic Church. The presumption of innocence was emphasized in various legal traditions, including the English common law.
    ### **Modern Codification:**
    - **English Common Law:** In English common law, the presumption of innocence became a fundamental principle, especially with the development of trial by jury. It was not explicitly codified but was a well-established part of the legal tradition by the 17th and 18th centuries.
    - **France (Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, 1789):** One of the earliest formal codifications of this principle was in France, during the French Revolution. Article 9 of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen states that "Every man being presumed innocent until he has been declared guilty."
    - **United States (Constitution and Bill of Rights):** While the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights do not explicitly state "innocent until proven guilty," the principle is implied through the Fifth, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments. The Supreme Court of the United States later affirmed the presumption of innocence as a fundamental right, most notably in the 1895 case *Coffin v. United States*.
    ### **International Codification:**
    - **Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948):** Article 11 of the UDHR, adopted by the United Nations, states that "Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial..."
In summary, the idea of being "innocent until proven guilty" has roots in ancient legal traditions but was formally codified in modern law starting with the French Revolution and has since become a cornerstone of legal systems worldwide, particularly in democratic societies.

York was a Roman City and has been a major centre of settlement ever since..it was actually the vikings capital in the North of England and there's been plenty of sieges and battles around it's walls over the centuries..So no shortage of skeletons and a lot of those died in horrific violent circumstances..However this particular mass burial was different because it was clearly high status Romans who had basically had their heads hacked and sliced off..their heads were placed between their legs which was a Roman mark of disrespect..there's been quite a bit of research into these guys..and Caracalla has gained some notoriety for what was basically the first cruel action of his sadistic reign..The Black African was an older man who was actually his and his brothers teacher Euwodus..Caracalla was easily as cruel as the more infamous Nero and Caligula...and unlike those two he didn't show any signs of insanity..he was just a very bad person..

“Magna Carta was issued in June 1215 and was the first document to put into writing the principle that the king and his government was not above the law. It sought to prevent the king from exploiting his power, and placed limits of royal authority by establishing law as a power in itself.”

It is not unusual for African royalty to speak up to 15 languages and be very educated. Rome Greece were mostly illiterate at the time. Name a Roman or Greek queen with such a status. I would like to learn about them. Most Greek and Roman men were gay or 10 to 1 females because of their barbaric culture as invaders, readers and thieves. The owned nothing in hades 11,000 years ago, so they took everything thru building empires. It was not unusual to kill your whole family. There Graves found across Europe with 15 female family members and no adult males. Google black emperors of Rome. @@elizabethjackson7262Nope she was Macedonian Greek. We know exactly what she looked like thanks to the Romans and the coins from her reign with her image on them along with all of the sculptures of her. The Ptolemaic dynasty was known for inbreeding so they could keep the royal bloodline pure. Virgil a contemporary of Cleopatra describes her as “She glowed with a rosy color, as lovely / as when the moon shines clear in a cloudless sky.” and also: “Her neck and arms were white as snow, and her breast / was like a rose in full bloom”.
That doesn’t mean however in the over 3,000 years of Egyptian history, that there weren’t black queens of Egypt. In the 8th Century BCE the 25th dynasty was when the Nubian army took over Egypt. During that time all the of the pharaoh’s were male but their wives would have had the high status of Queens. Why not look to them for representation. Instead of a very inbred Cleopatra who the last ruler of ancient Egypt?

Now I also don't think you quite know how 'recent' Cleopatra was around. Did you know that she hooked up with Julius Caesar and allegedly had a kid with him? And after him she hooked up with his right hand man and had a couple more kids with him?

Septimius Severus was not the person who founded or built the original walls that protected the city of London (Londinium). The London Wall was originally constructed during the late 2nd century, around AD 190, before Severus became emperor. It was likely commissioned by earlier Roman authorities as part of the fortification of Londinium, which was an important city in Roman Britain.
there is a historical association between Severus and the London Wall because some parts of the wall were likely repaired or enhanced during his reign (193-211 AD), hence the occasional reference to him in connection with the wall. The wall was built primarily to defend the city from external threats, and Severus, during his reign, was involved in various military campaigns to secure Roman control in Britain and elsewhere in the empire.
In short, Severus did not found or build the London Wall, but he may have been involved in its reinforcement or maintenance. The wall itself was a product of Roman urban planning to protect one of their key cities in Britain.

Gonna say our history before 250 BC isn't very accurate. Apparently Cleisthenes of Athens was written by 'Pythagorean brotherhood'.
There is no direct written record or text from Pythagoras himself explicitly laying out the principle of isonomy or "equality before the law." Writings of his later followers and members of the Pythagorean brotherhood, none of which were written by Pythagoras himself.
Accounts about Pythagoras from ancient historians and philosophers like Porphyry, Iamblichus, Diogenes Laertius and others who lived centuries after Pythagoras. - These secondary sources suggest that among the doctrines supported by Pythagoras -
However, the exact phrase "isonomy" and its modern formulation as a legal/political theory did not originate from any text written by Pythagoras himself. Later writers inferred and extrapolated this principle from the general philosophical positions and teachings attributed to Pythagoras and his followers.
So in summary, while Pythagoras may have espoused beliefs in line with isonomy, we do not have any of his own writings explicitly defining or detailing this specific concept. It was reconstructed from second-hand accounts written long after his death.

In 1215, the ruler of England was King John, who was deeply unpopular. He was involved in the murder of his nephew, he fell out with the church AND he lost territory he inherited, through military defeats.
I was a security guard at the British Library. They had the Magna Carter on display and a whole exhibition about it. Wondering around the exhibition and listening to information about the Magna Carta stuck with me. It was transferred to the British Library by someone casually carrying it in a backpack on the London underground train. The Magna Carter was lost for a long time until someone found it in a tailor shop as spare sheep skin. The tailor was going to cut it down to size and use it as a shirt collar.

Amen. Unfortunately, our society has become so ignorant, so dumbed down, that they begin to hate our nation. If they understood the importance of democracy, and how it was purchased with the blood of generations before us, they would humble themselves and go to work trying to repair the damage they've done. But the average American charges blindly into a fight that isn't even productive, achieving and proving nothing. I'm in my 60s and I never imagined there could possibly be so much ignorance in 2024. I always thought we would improve, get better with time. 😓

Although Septimus Severus was African & born in Africa(Carthage) which had been a Roman Province since the end of the Punic Wars for about 300 years before Septimus Severus was born , Carthage was founded by a group of peoples who traveled by sea ( Phoenicians) also how Rome was founded around 800 bc by the remnants of the Trojans after the famous Trojan War where Achilles fame comes from, Septimus Severus parents were also from this province they had Carthaginian ancestry and they identified with this culture over the native Numidian culture that had already been there before the Phoenicians and have lasted there far longer.

John signed Magna Carta to get the support of the Barons again because of the war he was in to keep the throne, which he ended up losing. It didn't have anything to do with peasants. And Severus was roman, born of Italians who moved to North Africa. He later became emperor for about 15 years. He wasn't black.
