Thanks for the presentation. It was a great overview. I’ve been on DMR for about 3 years. It looks like Allstar is link an analog hotspot.

Great presentation, as a user of Allstar for almost six years, I feel one important feature was left out. Allstar is a duplex system and although the clearnode and SHARI devices don't take advantage of that feature, duplex opens up a lot of capabilities with nodes connecting repeaters and other devices.

Also, a ClearZero can do ethernet by adding a $7 usb-ethernet adapter. Just remember to get one w/the micro USB connector...

Clearnode has dvswitch software installed that allows the analog to connect to digital. Clearnode runs hamvoip software for the Allstar connections.

I got a clear note recently and need some help how do you connect to a new contact also I have not seen these yellow or blue stripes when I use it on the previous connections that were done and testing before it was mailed out to me so I'm just a little bit hazy on these two processes if you could please clarify

I am a new Ham (paid the fee today). My first radio ( bought before i should have) is a HT analog. My house is like a farady cage . I will need an antenna outside and getting it inside has to meet my wifes approval. I am thinking this is a good first step? It can get my on the air and if spend the time and and effort can then get a outside antenna or even base unit. Does this make sense?

I think Clearnode would better be described as 'turnkey', rather than 'commercialized', though it is certainly that too.
