You've already gotten replys like this but Thats just a glitch. They just didn't bother removing the guys model from the car since its nearly impossible to see him in the ending normally.
I think the detective is watching the character because he's on an investigation to find out what happened in the first game. I bet he ends up saving our character later on in the story

When the Guest, out of the blue, came up to me, kicked me, and took my generator. I ran after him and when I got to his house, I used the cameras to see that he threw the generator into the fireplace. I gave up after that.
I don't get why you kept calling the town of Raven Brooks a "park" when the park from Hello Guest itself is just the ferris wheel area, and not the whole map!

Hello neighbor 2 (at least from the look of the alpha) should actually take place chronologically before the first hello neighbor. In I think the third book a new corporation comes to tear down the amusement Park which Is why it is nowhere in sight in the first game. Especially when in the 4th book aaron says he lives quite near the park. Please correct me if I made a mistake i read the books a while ago so I don't remember everything that well
From reading all the books I have a theory that the Ferris wheel is still running as there was a girl who had died on the Ferris wheel and the people of raven brooks got angry at the creator of the golden Apple amusement park AKA mr Peterson
You also forgot to mention about the vandals shoes there was actually Nikki the protagonist in hello neighbor one there was his shoes which could mean that he went missing and he was there or he was a vandal that died

I have a theory is that Quentin is the neighbor's son who did a name change to hide from his father, while the crow guy is the neighbor or a split personality of the son. Maybe idk

I believe the detective is a goverment official who is looking after the neighbour in a remote valley after they found out he was abusing his child (the son) for killing his sister. It would make sense as the neighbour would cause lots of issues if people found out what happen. It does not explain the guest but maybe he was partner of the neighbour and knew about the situation so they had to keep him there as well. Or he is a relative.
The "guest" is a forest protector or at the very least soomone dressing as the forest protector. They are described in the books. Havnt finished reading the 4th book though (it's the book they are first introduced in) so I don't know if they are quite real
