Wow! So many amazing tips! It looks like a really special place to stay and explore! Would definitely check our Cedric’s tavern! The sunset was beautiful and loved the tour!
Every time I see one of your videos on this property I am amazed by how big the property is and all the things to see and do there. Always good to plan some downtime and I always like to plan my days around when and where I'm going to eat. I bet the photos there are incredible especially at sunset - but too bad it sets so late in the summer. Especially a good tip to know what's included in the ticket admission price.
Those sunsets at billmore are unreal. So much incredible info and tips. Very helpful to anybody that would love to travel here. Can I just live in this castle 😁
Tasting wine and chocolate? Mmm, what a perfect combination! 😋😋😋😋 And I agree, don't plan too much and give yourself time to settle in and not to run from one place to another! So eat local sounds perfect! Sunsets are always great! Very useful tips you got there! All the best
Yes! The wine and chocolate pairing were eye opening. It was so fun to discover how the flavors paired together and completely changed the experience of my palate. Thanks for watching!
Great tips. I'm about to do my first ever visit. I only have about 5-6 hours this coming Sunday. I literally fly in from Miami, FL and land in Asheville at 8:30 am. Hoping to hop in my rental and arrive by 9:30. My house tour isn't until 12:30, so I think I'll be ok and have time before and after to see some of the grounds.
I'm glad you found the tips helpful :) I think you planned your time wisely. 5-6 hours is the bare minimum that I think you can enjoy both the house, grounds and Antler hill village. I suggest using the first part of your time before the tour to enjoy the garden, shops and maybe even some of the restaurants at the house. Then when you're done there, spend the rest of the time enjoying Antler Hill Village. Be sure to check out their animal farm at Antler Hill Village, they have some new baby goats. So cute!
I really like and appreciated how detailed all your tips. This is so helpful for all travellers. Make advance reservation is a good tip to save time. If I will get a chance to travel in Biltmore I will use this one.
You truly have become the Biltmore Estate guru on RUclips. This place is such a gem. The mastery of architecture is amazing. I like the plan you set out for people that have a 2 days. Good tips on using the the shuttles. I mean I'd love to ride a bike or walk through the trails during Spring or Fall to explore. But, not if I'm trying see all the estate has to offer. The sunsets from there look amazing. In total how many days would you truly give this place to explore the entirety of the grounds as well as the estate?
Thank you! You're kind words made my day :) I really think a minimum of 3 days would be optimal. 1 to dedicate to the house and gardens, 1 day to dedicate to Antler hill village and maybe an activity or exhibit and then the 3rd day for things that take you off the beaten path on the estate like canoeing, horse and carriage ride, falconry, etc. That would truly give you the most of everything Biltmore has to offer.
I’m glad you told us where the good sunsets are. I love sunsets and it’s hard to know where the best ones are when visiting a new place. Falconry does look fun! Glad to know the heads up how long I need to book in advance! I’d hate to miss my chance.
So happy you found that info helpful. I'm itching to try the falconry! I haven't done it yet. You will all certainly know when I do. LOL! Thanks for watching :)
I had a tour of this estate many years ago, however the tour was not as extensive as it is now. I will certainly have to return, and do it again! It is well worth it, and simply breathtaking.
I just finished watching your video, and I must say that the tip about staying on the estate really resonated with me. By fully immersing oneself in the ambiance and culture of the estate, I can see how it would provide a truly authentic and unique experience. It's refreshing to consider an alternative to the typical touristy approach, and I'm excited to give this a try on my next trip. Thanks for sharing such valuable insights! Looking forward to more great content from you.
Thanks for the informative video and invaluable tips. Planning a trip well is key to ensuring a successful and efficient stay, especially when time is limited. The place looks very clean and pleasant,, I also noticed that the prices for eating and for other activities are about the same as in europe, thanks again for this great content !
I’m impressed with all you got to do in such a short time. I didn’t realize there are so many places to eat and how big the estate is. Wow wow wow. I will certainly make time to see the sunset at the inn. That view was out of the world. I got my planner and love it. So helpful. Thank ypu🔥🔥🔥
So happy you got the planner and are loving it! I appreciate you letting me know. Thank you for the kind words and the feedback. Have a wonderful trip to Biltmore! :)
Cedric tavern looks like a good place to eat. They had a nice looking entrance and the prices on the menu weren't bad at all! The onion and truffle dip caught my attention right away!! Planning in advance is the only way to travel! I don't like not having a plan! So that is an amazing tip for someone who doesn't travel much!! Biltmore estate is a beautiful place! Thank you so much for sharing this very great informative trip planner! I hope to one day be able to visit this beautiful place! And try some wine 😋
Very interesting, great details and tips to spend a visit at Biltmore Estate. @3:13 that clip looks cute, nice editing :). I will definitely enjoy the wine bar. Although Im not used to cold meal but the food looks really nice @4:13. But I dont know if that's a ready to eat meal or still need to cook the meat, lol sorry that kind of food in Asia is not common. My favourite is tip 6 the Sunset, the best part of the day for me. Thanks for sharing this trip.
That's a great question. My answer, however, depends on a few different factors such as time of day, what you'll be doing around your meal time, how much time you have on the estate and what your preferences are. If I had to pick which restaurant is my favorite between the two, I would pick the Stable Cafe. Every meal I've had there has been spectacular with amazing service. That being said, here are other things I would take into consideration when choosing a dining spot. 1) Time of day. The Stable Cafe has more limited hours and may not be open. You'll want to check their hours for the day that you plan to go. It's rarely open for the evening meal except for during the Christmas season since the House and Grounds are open to guests for extended hours. Cedrics is almost always open. I can't remember a time that I've been to Biltmore when Cedrics wasn't open during dining hours. Of course all restaurants are subject to close, so you should always check, but it does tend to be open more often. 2) Your preferences. Stable Cafe is more Mountain-style comfort foods, while Cedrics is more English Pub-style foods. 3) What will you be doing around your mealtime? If you have a house tour right before or right after you want to eat, the Stable Cafe is a better choice. If you will be enjoying your time at Antler Hill Village at mealtime, then Cedrics is a better choice. 3) Atmosphere: If it's a beautiful day and you enjoy eating on an outdoor patio, Cedrics has that option where the Stable Cafe only has indoor seating. The inside of the Stable Cafe has an open and bright atmosphere with a country/stable theme where Cedrics has dim lighting and an English pub feel. I hope that helps with your decision. I'd love to know what you pick and how you enjoy it! :)
Ive been right by there last year but didnt stop and my parents saw it and said it was amazing... Nice job covering all the areas and providing all the info. How would you rate a 2 day trip there? No wifi oh no.. but its ok. Tip #8, totally agree.
I would rate a 2 day trip a 10 out of 10. They do have wifi, it's just spotty in some places and it's wise to keep a screen shot of tickets just in case.
I'm visiting Asheville/Biltmore this January. What advice do you have for us about visit this month of the year? We're most concerned about how cold it will be outsideand the amount (?) of walking reqired.
I'm glad you found it helpful :) They do have a chocolate meditation that's really nice and doesn't involve alcohol. It's more of a mindfulness activity by tasting and savoring different chocolates. I highly recommend!
Wow! So many amazing tips! It looks like a really special place to stay and explore! Would definitely check our Cedric’s tavern! The sunset was beautiful and loved the tour!
Yes, def go to Cedrics when you go. It's one of my staples. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching :)

Between Cedric Tavern and Stable Cafe, which do you recommend as our sit-down option?
