While there are MANY sights, activities, and attractions in the Asheville area, the number one most visited attraction is without a doubt The Biltmore Estate, and it’s for good reason! The opulence, the architecture, the history, the magnitude… Simply put, this place is impressive in every sense of the word. And as much as we try to show you and explain it to you, there’s really no substitute for visiting the Biltmore for yourself. It truly is one of those places that can’t be explained, only experienced. That said, we’re going to do our best to articulate the beauty and grandeur of the Biltmore in this video. We had the pleasure of spending one ENTIRE day exploring this impressive property and we STILL couldn’t fit in everything that’s offered. But we hope that after watching that you’ll add The Biltmore Estate to your travel bucket list because it is well worth experiencing! You two actually look like you are having fun. Don’t lose the joy
We are pass holders and have been dozens of times. We have been on many tours behind the scenes. We still haven’t seen everything. It is an amazing place.
So cool to see the Biltmore again, and it looks quite different than when we went. We went in December 2022 for my 4Oth. If you haven't seen it decked out at Christmas, you must go back🎄 😊. On the way in, just outside the entrance gate, we stopped at the fanciest McDonald's for breakfast, but now I wish we would've ate at the stables, that looked delicious 😋. While waiting for our reservation time, we did have some coffee and a treat from the outdoor cafe on the right. With the Christmas music, and lighting, it was very magical. I hope you enjoyed your dinner with Stacey and Ernie. So good to put a face with the Patreon family 😊 Thank for sharing all your wonderful memories your making, and keeping us laughing with your sparkling personalities.
We went during Christmas for our first ever time & it was so beautiful! The tree in the dining room?! So huge & amazing! 🤯👌🏼🎄 Right?! Our patreon fam is the absolute best!!! Thanks for being on this adventure with us! We appreciate you more than you know! 💗💗
Matt and Nat, honestly, you two, those bloopers were some of the funniest ever. I'm still laughing and wiping away the tears. The video went very fast; so you know it was a good one. Such a fabulous estate. The paintings and other decorative treasures would be worth a separate video. Thanks for doing the traveling for those of us whose traveling days are over. Keep up the entertaining work! God bless!
Ohhh you are in my ole stomping grounds. Asheville. 😊 The builtmore house is so beautiful and wonderful history. Hope you enjoy. ❤
Hello from Gatlinburg!
We love Asheville! Such a beautiful area! And yes, the Biltmore is amazing! We definitely enjoyed our visit! Thanks so much for watching!😊
I never knew this existed! Now I need to go!
It truly is a wonderful experience! Definitely worth adding to the bucket list! Thanks for watching!😊
You mean the place where podesta had paintings of children tied up and abused in the pool room!! You people need to wake the F up !!
We love Biltmore! Best place to visit in all seasons!!!❤
Hello from Gatlinburg TN...have you been here?
Right?? We especially love it at Christmas! 😍 Thanks for watching, y'all! 😊
@@TheGatlinburgHussey yes multiple times! It’s amazing!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat yes! Christmas is our favorite time also!!!
@@adventureisuncertainty1061 nice!! I do Vlogs Daily here in Gatlinburg if you'd like to check out...do you have a channel?
I just subscribed several weeks ago. Greetings from Evansville, Indiana which is in Southern Indiana. I have been binge watching. The two of you are adorable together! So much love ❤ towards each other. Thank you for making me feel as though I am there at all these wonderful places. You are my relaxation after getting off work! As my husband is nearing retirement in 4 years it will give us more options of places we have not saw yet. I will be looking forward to all your future adventures!
The Biltmore is one of my absolute favorite place to visit and season passing are must!! Go at Christmas!!! Over 300 Christmas trees!!!
This is stunning, never seen this place before! Hopefully, I would love to go there and experience it for myself.
Hey guys, it's been a while since I did not comment on your videos!
Isn't it?? So beautiful! Hopefully you'll get to visit someday! And thanks so much for watching and commenting! It's always great to hear from you! 😊
Most people that visit Biltmore estate don't know this but on the left side of the house there used to be an outdoor swimming with diving board it was later filled in by Biltmore estate
We went to Biltmore several years ago and I felt like a day was almost not enough, there is so much there. We did the audio tour of the house and it was really interesting to go through the rooms and listen to the history. We also visited the winery, but I don't recall there being other restaurants on the property back then. We definitely need to go back! I just joined the Patreon page! 🥰
There are so many underrated places in NC and the rest of the Southeast
You guys are just my FAVOURITES 💗. I’ve been watching you for so long and you’re just my comfort watch, I always go back and re-watch different videos! I went to America about 5 years ago and I’ve always wanted to go back, but you guys just show so much I can never make up my mind! Although I’m a huge country music fan, so I feel like Nashville would be the top pick! But I watch your videos for inspo! You guys are great! Lots of love from 🇬🇧✨
I like your guys videos
Commentary is real good from both of you . Yall seem like a great team:
Aw, thanks so much!😊
I went in the Spring of 1986 and then during Christmas in the early 90's, both trips were different but equally beautiful. So close to me just 2 hrs away. Thank you for sharing.
Oh wow! That's awesome! Both are wonderful times to visit! Spring with all of the flowers blooming and Christmas with all of the decorations up... So beautiful! Thanks so much for watching!😊
We took the rooftop tour on our honeymoon. I highly recommend. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Ooo… I bet that was amazing!😍
WOW! I became aware of your channel thru another channel (Andr'e Reacts) that has done a couple of reactions to your travel videos. I am soooo glad he introduced his audience to you guys! Ha! Now I'll have to do some Binge watching. ❤
This was a great video. My best experience there was when I stayed for a week. The majesty and environment changed my life forever. I was able to really enjoy all of the little things that really make the house
We were there two weeks ago and I had the meatloaf at the restaurant, too. We also did the winery. My favorite part was definitely the gardens. Just stunning!
We were there at Christmas. It was decorated beautifully.
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
Man just about every part of this video was breathtaking 😃
Thanks so much for watching!🥰
Great channel -just subbed!
Aww… Thanks so much!🥰🥰
We lovveee Asheville and that whole area! Omg nat over the ac vent 😂 Biltmore looks amazing will definitely check it out next time. Mat fixing your hair 🤣🤣🤣Loving these frequent videos guys! ❤️
I went yesterday and this made me miss it even more 😢
Another fun video! We went to Asheville and The Biltmore in April 2022, and it was fun to "revisit". If you ever go back, the rooftop tour was well worth the time and cost! Asheville is such a cool town overall, and The Biltmore is just one more piece of the unique charm. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
This was so fun to watch :)
Glad you enjoyed it!😊
I love the Builtmore Tour and garden. Did it last year and cannot wait to see it again.
I enjoyed visiting there even as a little kid, it is just mesmerizing
they definitely added more shops and restaurants since I last went, the house and the garden is what we always went to
I have never been to Ashville but definitely on the radar.
Good morning Nat and Matt happy Monday morning and I loved your vlogs and you all amazing Supporter
Awww thank you so much!!! 🥰 We Hope you have an amazing week! We appreciate you watching & being so supportive! 💗
@@AdventuresofMattandNat your welcome sending you hugs ❤️ 🤗
Aw, you all were in our hometown. We love the Biltmore. My kids always like to imagine having an Easter egg hunt in the house. Wouldn't that be a blast. Glad you all got to visit.
Biltmore is a must see for sure! Been twice and enjoyed both times. I also flew over it one time on a commercial flight. Think I was more excited than my seatmates when I realized we were over the estate. 😀
We went to Biltmore about 28 years ago. Back then there was no restaurant and I think the only thing else you could do was tour the house, the flower gardens or go to the wine tasting room, which by the way, has really gotten larger and more elaborate than when we were there. I don’t think there were any gift shops either. We need to go back. I hear the Christmas decorations are beautiful to see when the house is all decorated up for the season.
Love the estate, the food looks fabulous.
You guys sold me on going here soon. Followed you guys for Boston at first and taking lots of ideas from your Med cruise when we travel there in May. Great videos and you've got a great way to immerse the viewer into your travels!
It’s so amazing!! We went in May and are going back next year 😻
Great video, we were just in Asheville for a week. Enjoyed Oak grove Inn. And the views!
Ok, we added this to our travel list for next summer when we’re up by Greenville. It looks like its worth the extra drive. Really looking forward to the lunch in the old stables.
This is so exciting! Thanks guys! Cannot wait to adventure out into that part of the States 😃
Thanks so much for watching & your kind comment! 🥰
Great video. We went to Ashville last year unfortunately we didn't have time to visit Biltmore. we have a trip on the books at the beginning of October to Chimney Rock, I think we will add this to the list. It was great to see Stacy and Eric in the video they are good people
I went a few years ago. It's incredible. But don't go in the summertime....no AC and it's HOT down south in the summer. Especially on the upper floors in the place. They have big industrial fans in the halls but there aren't any in most the rooms. Still incredible though. The gardens will blow your mind thinking how many people would have to work there to simply maintain that property. It's a brilliant work of art. Just go during cooler months.
Another amazing vlog! Hi ya'll and that place looks amazing. The meatloaf is what I would go for hands down. Great job as always see you in the next one. God bless and stay safe you two🙏✈🍨🥩🥂
Awww thanks so much friend!! 🥰💗 That meatloaf was awesome!!! We appreciate y’all & are praying for y’all! Love you! God Bless! 💗
Love this! Would love to go at Christmas!!
Lived here my whole life. Buddy of mine was head of biltmore estate police. He took me to alot of places that no one gets to go. It is such an amazing place.
What?!? That’s soooo cool!!! How awesome is that?!?
Love the Biltmore! Great music choice too
Awww thanks so much! 🥰🥰
Haven't been to the Biltmore since my 7th Grade trip back in 08. Now I live up in Asheville and haven't had a chance to visit. Hopefully soon!
Wow, this place is impressive. Something worth seeing if we visit the states, we love places like this. Well filmed and documented by you guys 💯♥️
Thanks so much for watching!🥰
“Are we becoming wine people?” Lol 😂😅 this place looks amazing! My mom loves touring big, old homes like this-it was her favorite part (I think in Connecticut or Rhode Island??) of her New England states road trip with my sister! I’ll have to see if she’s been here before and take her someday! Thanks for taking us along!! 💕
Hi Guys! Thank you for the amazing suggestions with the video! So with your 1000 places to see before you die….are you guys time stamping the book or making notes….such a nerd question but I bought the book too because my husband and I like your idea of this!
hi mat and nat, did the two hour tour as well when i lived in nc, never did any of the orher activities you dud, your meals looked yummy!
Oh that’s so cool!! Happy you’ve gone! Thanks so much for watching!
So thankful for your channel. Love your awesome adventures. Love your story too. Safe travels and God bless. Look us up (my husband and I 😊) if you ever make it to Wilmington, NC!!!
Awww we appreciate you so much! 💗🥰 We absolutely love Wilmington, NC! We would love to come back & actually film our time there!! Thank you so much for watching & for your kind comment! It means so much more than you know! 🥰 God Bless you both! 💗 - Nat
Awesome, awesome video!!! The Biltmore is special to us, that's where I proposed to my sweetheart!! We love that place!!
Next time y'all go there, go to Cedric's Tavern and get the bison burger!
I didn't become a wine person until I was almost 40! We made a lasagna dinner and hubby picked up a Merlot from Australia - cheap, Jacob's Creek. So he had me sip the wine with the lasagna and I have pretty much hated him ever since because....well.... I like wine very much now 😆 I need to see how far the drive is from the Hilton Head area, we haven't done Biltmore and I feel like a slacker. Spring or Christmas though???
Hello Stacy and Ernie, that place is ridiculous. That's not a home that's a facility, massive and beautiful.
Right?? It’s wild!
Hello Dear friends Beatiful places 💕 I love it .
I am sure I explore USA and some places around the world 🌎 is my dream .
Thank you guys your videos are anaizing .
Hugs 🫂 from Utah .❤❤
18:37 Matt you are such a child. That is the first thing I saw as well. I get you man!
We went to the Biltmore last year and loved it. Crazy, my wife was wearing her Biltmore shirt the day your video dropped. Do you plan on keeping a running tally of how many of the 1K you have seen for us voyeurs?
Y’all are so much fun! Nat, girl…. I need to know what lipstick you are wearing that did not get all over the wine glass??😂😂
Been to Asheville several times and still haven’t made it to the Biltmore.🙄 Next time! Fun video!
who edits your videos?! amazing work.. your last couple of videos have been amazing. (screenplay, and visuals)
Nat does 😍
Do they have an old fashioned carousel? I think that would be awesome, to hear that throughout the mansion!
The Biltmore has to be seen to be believed Have been there twice and hav e not seen everything ❤
Yes!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Going in novémber!!! With the family! I just bought the tickets 😊😊 anyone know how’s the weather in November?? Also did you have to make a reservation for the stable cafe?
How do you guys stay fit after eating those Delicious but Rich Food ???? and Me and wife went to the Biltmore and it was during the spring and it was wonderful. I want to see the Biltmore at Christmas time on my next trip there.
i came prepared to copp the whole Estate, i had my cargos on so they knew i was about business !
all those pockets 💰
Great vid guys. Went to Biltmore with an ex-fiancé. Man I miss that place! The girl, not so much...lol.
😂😂
Love your smileys, winks so impressive and amazing!!
😊 thank you
Just returned from a visit to the Biltmore and I'm curious how you were allowed to video inside the house? We were told no video.
Hey! Ahhh we should’ve mentioned that in our video… but we asked permission ahead of time. 🥰
I just knew it from Richie Rich
Biltmore is the largest privately owned estate in the world. 250 room.
The only way to eat mashed taters with chunks of potatoes.......... renting bikes & doing the bike trails r a must @ Biltmore house & they used summer concerts with some really great artists, but unfortunately not any more😢
ive never been there and i live in nc. i heard the rooms are outrageously priced.
It’s definitely worth a visit. We’ve never stayed at any of the hotels, but would love to. Prices very much depend on when you stay and which accommodations you choose. We would love to try it sometime! Thanks for watching!😊
Stay at hotels in January or February and it's reasonable.
How many nights in Asheville would you suggest to see everything?
Depending on what all you’re wanting to do/see, I think 3-5 nights (2-4 full days) would be enough. You won’t be able to see/do it all, but it would be enough to get a solid grasp on the city. Thanks for watching!😊
Mostly just you two telling everyone what its like there 😂 i get the channel name now
Yep. I'm Matt, she's Nat, and we go on adventures... Pretty straightforward.
@@AdventuresofMattandNat cool safe travels
Thanks! You too!
I can see Bruce Wayne living there
I think I went there a long time ago
Haha... Right?? Definitely gives off Bruce Wayne vibes! Lol... Thanks for watching, Steve! Hope you're doing well!😊
@@AdventuresofMattandNat better then expected
Do you live in a house or an apartment? I just thought I ask after viewing this video.
My mom works here
Is there a fee to go in?
Yes, there is a fee to enter the grounds. You can find all of those details on their website (www.biltmore.com). Thanks for watching!
Vanderbilt married his 1st cousin and had 13 siblings sweet home Alabama 😂
Was built by giants
Guys watch "my lunch break" this home was not built during our civilization AT A lL
This video could be a bit better if it had more of you two and less of the house. 😢😢😢
👍
Show the house. .not your faces
👋🏼✌🏼
Those robber barons worked poor people to death to build massive wealth and their family is still getting money from that Biltmore House in Asheville. I would not spend one time going to that place.
👍
I was under the impression the state of North Carolina now owns it
@@maryfettig3378 The Biltmore Company own and operates the estate and the CEO of The Biltmore Company is George Vanderbilt's great-grandson, Bill Cecil Jr.
Who owns Biltmore Estate today? The estate is still family-owned. George Vanderbilt's great-grandson, Bill Cecil Jr, is the current CEO of Biltmore Company. His father (and George Vanderbilt's grandson William Amherst Vanderbilt Cecil) was responsible for most of the dramatic growth of Biltmore.@@maryfettig3378
It's is still family owned and they live on the property.
You guys need to stop making the videos about the two of you and make them about the place your visiting.
👍🏼
Great video guys! When he bought the land Vanderbilt bought everything he could see from the highest point of the property so that he could be “the lord of all he surveyed”…definitely big bachelor energy hahaha
We went there years ago. We just did the house tour but are determined to get back to do the rest. Great video.
Thank you so much for watching! We totally understand that… The house tour alone can easily be a half day event! Lol
