Hog did the next one and it went down just as well, if not better (Auckland were a loud bunch and I'm so happy for you guys about that!!!) Foil hears the laughter, looks at the crowd and then smiles at Hog and says "I tell you what, maybe we don't need the other fella" (Arms was getting changed/behind the curtain) And then he looks down at their costume.... And then he goes.... AND THEN HE GOES!!!! "We don't even need arms!" THE WHOLE PLACE ROARED WITH LAUGHTER, WHAT A LEGEND 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I still to this day wish I could've seen Arms' face when he said it 🤣

One of my favourite memories is going to see these guys in Belfast and Foil completely dropping his persona of an old man while trying to throw the bread up to the 'ducks' (audience members) in the balcony seats. He failed and was devestated, saying he's been trying it at every show with a balcony. They continued the show. And when he comes back after the show he's playing a character who's an actor who's just been shot and is giving a huge dramatic monologue. Right as it seems he's about to finally shut up and die he leaps to his feet and yells that he "WON'T GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT! FOR I..." pauses for dramatic effect, then whips something out of his waistcoat- "FOUND A TOASTER!". Cluching the now toasted brrad like a frisbee, he sends it flying up to the balcony- AND IT FUCKING LANDS. The crowd went mental. One of my most treasured moments ever. If you're ever doubting whether or not to go see them live, please do. They add a whole new level to their comedy and love interacting with the audience
Saw it live in Edinburgh. Loved it then, still perfect now. Loved the shriek from lady in audience at "none of that carry on now". She got the joke, others followed. Great rapport with audience, as always.😊
FAHntastic sketch. You guys can tell a story so well with minimalist, but quality production components. This is an excellent use of personification of inanimate objects reflective of our human foibles. Love it. You do this so well. I feel so blessed to have seen your live performance in Seattle this week. What we can see via the You Tube sketches is exceptional. However, seeing your work in person, on a stage, is spectacularly exceptional. I so grateful to the encouragement I received to attend and for the help of my children to make it happen for me. Most special, though, was meeting you all in person after the show. Fellow FAHns, I can declare to you that these gentlemen are as cordial, kind, and gracious as you hope they would be. I was near the end of the meet and great line so I got to observe their interactions with other FAHns from afar. I could tell they made each feel welcomed and appreciated. Then, when it was my turn, the smiles, hugs, handshakes. Wowza. Love you guys. Keep up the good work and take care of each other. Safe travels.

One of my absolute favourite Hogwash sketches. I'll never forget the moment at the Fringe when we all realised you were imitating the movement of a baggage carousel. This one had me in tears laughing. Have a wonderful day.
I eyed that zipper in the middle the whole time, wondering if FAH went on long suitcase hunts for what they deemed masculine and feminine and, yeah, until they identified it as Gerry's fly, I thought it was meant to be his dingle (to use American slang, but an Irish town).
Brilliant idea! But that's just how you three are, through and through brilliant. I sincerely hope that you will remain with people for at least many years to come.

Reminds me of the time I was in a suitcase for a sketch we did in school. We had three large groups you were assigned to and each one would compete in stuff (like making a sketch, making art, dancing, singing etc) and gain wins. Whoever had the most wins in the end won. The sketch we did had people going through an airport and some people weren't allowed through due to generic items and sometimes drugs but one couple was allowed through despite having a bomb (an alarm clock), a gun (a nerf gun) and a human they were smuggling (me). I was very small in school and was the only one who could fit.
I didn't get this at first. Now I do. Gold reference. I missed it because technically it was "Lads! The Bag!!!" with a big smile on his face describing something terrible.
@@foilarmsandhog On the one I saw live, Foil and Hog were bantering for too long and finished the sketch just after going round the corner and had to do another loop while improvising, it was great fun.

This was my favourite Hogwash sketch from first to last show! It's so clever with such a simple premise. The expressions make it! Needed to see more of backpacker bag than him lurking in the wings 😂
