True story……when I was 16, I worked at a golf course as the cart boy. My particular course had one of those pvc contraptions. In the club house, the pro had a medicus (the hinged golf club). Using those 2 gimmicks together, over the course of a summer, I lowered my handicap from 18 to 4. Still to this day, when I’m having a bad round, I try to think back to that feeling of getting my club on plane and exactly when to break my wrist on the back swing. Of course I never became a pro but after 28 years of playing golf, my handicap is still single digit and it came from the principles of those 2 golf gadgets.
I love the course vibes, too many courses are stuck up, minus the fairway condition, i would absolutely play it.

To get your tee out on hard ground put your club head just behind it and give it a little kick - will free it enough to remove.
When playing off the mat put the ball forward and not in the middle as it removes the mental thought of hitting the back of the mat on the downswing

Doesn't the rulebook say that you're allowed to play it if an animal interferes but it's still playable? I'm not sure that a dog is usually the animal they're referring to, it typically is birds or gators.

I'm guessing the price he paid included the cart rental. Maybe 15 for the round and 19 for the cart? Or perhaps he had to pay extra for not joining the cult

Dang 34 for 9 holes. I play fosters in Tukwila Washington and it’s 21 for 18 holes and the grass is miles better
Eco golf club Hollywood Florida would be a great fit for this series, the smell, the greens, the fairway, everything is bad about it.
I’ve played some bad courses, but this is the worst I have seen

I grew up playing there and learning to golf there. They sold the land that held holes 8 and 9, and then cut in half a couple par 4's to make 9 holes. The hospitality is 0/10, the greens are longer than some fairways. Even with 8 and 9 getting deleted and replaced, There are some great golf holes. Would love to see a review.

As a beaver county native, I’ve played harmony ridge many times. Do you remember Running Brook/Rivers Edge in industry? It’s been closed for years, but was a cool little 9 hole course. Same with Deer Trails right down the road.

@@jimlahey3919 I don;t know Brook/Rivers Edge, but Deer Trails is still around. Deer Trails was awesome with hospitality and their greens are incredibly ungulated and well kept. The course/carts/teeboxes/fairways need a little work, but you can just tell that theyre just not getting enough money to care for it. The greens blew me away though. And the people were awesome.

There was also guy by the same name on Big Brother, season 1. Pretty sure all three of these Rocco's are actually the same guy.
