    Hey I am a man that is a boyfriend to a woman who is going through this type of situation and it's been very difficult for her. I've been researching everyday to find a better alternative for women besides being on birth control. I came across some healthy supplements that may help with fertility issues. Such as Black Seed Oil, Maca Root, Multivitamins, Zinc. I dont know if any woman with these problems has tried going that route of using them and have a healthy balance diet. I honestly believe that would help a lot other than taking some pill that's not even %100 natural for your body. Women are our delicate Queens and I believe that the world needs to treat this situation more seriously. ❤❤

    Wow this is the first time I’ve ever went on birth control. I’m 29 and honestly it’s helping me so much with my ovarian cyst. I’ve been on it for 3 weeks now. I’m not experiencing any problems. I guess it depends on the person.

    I would just like to say thank you so so so much for this video. I was on BC from 18-22 and after getting off it… it’s been a journey.
    I didn’t have a period for three months following and then a year later I began to have INSANE pain during my period. My now hubby recalls our first month of dating going swimming but on the drive I began screaming and crying because the pain was unbearable.
    Fast forward to more than a year later and it was confirmed I have ovarian cysts too. Only solution has been BC for me sadly :/
    I don’t want to get back on it so simply trying to manage the pain ❤️

    Omg i relate so much to this. My drs neglected me for twelve years and finally I was diagnosed with PCOS last week. and they said get back on the pill or the cysts will be more frequent. Keep in mind last summer they gave me the highest dose when I asked for the lowest and I had a stroke from it... I hate that getting on the pill is the only way to fix things I hate it I would rather die. But I’m being forced to go back on in two days..keep in mind I was 25 with perfect health, suddenly having loss of vision and numbness in the er waiting room.... I swear the pill is what messed me up from the start.

    Well, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I just go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Cyst Guide and now I feel as light and relaxed as I've ever been.

    I have been diagnosed with PCOS for about 7 1/2 months now and it’s been really rough. I was prescribed Sprintec about 2-3 times now. All by different doctors. I’m very hesitant to go on the pill because of what I’ve heard from the negative side affects. I’ve really tried to lose weight and be the best version I can be but it’s so frustrating 😭😞 I wish I could get better. Should I take this pill??

    • @PaigeCorbett

      Everyone's bodies respond differently to birth control and the different dosage they're taking so unfortunately there is no easy answer. Honestly, birth control is trial and error process; I wish I could tell you how it would affect you but the only real way to know is to try it ☹️

    Thank you so much for this video!! I also have a smaller frame and I’ve been taking birth class from for 2 months now and have gone up 6-7 pounds!😭 I weigh 120 and that’s the heaviest I have ever been! My diet has not changed at all and I’m trying to eat healthier but nothing I do seems to stop the weight gain! Since I have started, I have also had a bloating problem:/ I asked my doctor about all of this an she told me birth control has nothing to do with it and that everyone experiences bloating, but I think she just wants to prevent me from going off the pill. I have also been experiencing terrible mood swings. There was times where I was just so annoyed with the world and everything made me mad/cry. I hate birth control so much, but I’m still taking it because I need it to fix my irregular periods😫

    • @PaigeCorbett
      @PaigeCorbett  5 лет назад +1

      ah this kills me because i know EXACTLY how you are feeling. you could try different brands of birth control and see if that helps with the weight gain? I know some friends never had that issue but I was an unlucky one and couldn't get rid of it either --- until i got off BC. Hang in there girl, youll find something that works for you! And keep asking questions to your doctor -- sometimes i feel like i have to ask 1000 times before they finally listen but eventually, you get through and can work towards a solution

      Oh my lord same!! But I’m just now having to start to get on birth control because of my ovarian cysts and because I could have more in the future but apparently birth control is the only way it reduces your risk of another ovarian cyst but I’m so scared to be on birth control and I have bad anxiety it kills me to know you can have blood clots or a heart attack from it

    Thank you so much for this. Everyone wants to pretend birth control is an easy and perfect solution but it’s not. I also started birth control and started getting random cramping in the middle of the month after going off birth control for a while. It’s not even ovulation pain. It’s also made my period more painful instead of less painful. Ugh I wish there were better solutions for women. If you don’t mind me asking what birth control did you use for the last 10 years? I really want to look into non hormonal contraception

    • @PaigeCorbett
      @PaigeCorbett  4 года назад +1

      AMEN SISTER. I used protection (ie. condoms) and that is also when I started tracking my cycle (there's so many apps for this now!) to get a feel for what was "normal." It's definitely not a perfect science but at a minimum, I knew when my cycle was coming and then if it was extra painful, I always noted it down so I could see if there was a pattern. Overall, exercise has been a huge gamechanger for me and has made my periods manageable

    I have endometriosis so I have to be on some type of birth control. honestly I’ve been dealing with this since the age of 13. been on multiple different spills and I got the iud at one point. but I just recently started birth control again because of endo flare ups. & my mood swings have been out of control. IDk what to do... like I don’t have an option. I cannot live my life like this. I’m a totally different person on the pill or any birth control :(

      This absolutely breaks my heart because I was in your spot in my late teens and it was miserable. At the time it didn’t feel like anything would get better but I found exercise and my body is so much better now. I still get bad periods but the reaaaally bad ones are only 2-3 times a year instead of every month. I never went back on BC because I felt like it was preventing me figuring out what my body actually needed and over the years, it is night and day difference. I hope you find something that works for you, it has to get better!
