    Wisdom from Rupert is better than psychologists and psychiatrists, because his words penetrate deeply in our understanding. We can feel beyond our soul and mind, the very being that is being aware of being aware.
    Thank you my friend/brother/master Rupert.

    “The Voice” is a major part of the work of Joel Goldsmith, and The Infinite Way. It comes often when we least expect it.

      And, although it might not come during meditation, meditation does provide a clearing and a hearing for it, when there is an opening present, and that could be in peace and quiet, or during a tempestuous storm storm of activities, words and confusion. It is the biblical “still small voice, closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet.”
      Even though it seems soft, the Bible also says “He speaks, and the earth melteth.”
      Joel S. Goldsmith wrote a book entitled “The Thunder of Silence.”
      Oftentimes people such as Rupert use that very same voice in teaching. In fact, he is a vehicle for that voice in our lives when we ask him questions. What we are not ready to hear naked and alone within ourselves, we temporarily go to a teacher for.

      In all paths we desire to become aware and conscious of our ultimate reality.
      Rupert’s path has just that in mind and is very dedicated and very wonderful.
      Joel S. Goldsmith and The Infinite Way, also seeks the same ends. But, most people did not enter his work for that specific purpose.
      You see, he was a businessman in his early life, and fumbled upon a Christian Science practitioner when his father was far away in a business trip and he was told that his dad was in the hospital and very close to death. He was already making funeral plans when an appointment he attended that night could not be cancelled, and he was asked why he looked so glum. He explained that his dad was if not dead already, dying. And the man said that he practiced Christian Science and he could help. Joel agreed. The next news of his father was that he was released from the hospital and on his way home. And, the father, prior to the healing was addicted to meds and pain killers, but after the healing, never needed them again.
      Joel had little religious or spiritual training, but people started asking him for prayers and healing. He knew nothing and he told them that the only prayer he knew was grace before eating. He prayed it and people were healed.
      To understand this phenomenon he studied Christian Science and became a very accomplished healer within the organization.
      Later, importations from within, “THE VOICE,” guided his every step, and instructions to start THE INFINITE WAY.
      His collection of audio recordings are on RUclips and are vast and voluminous in any and every spiritual topic. He moved from healing to spiritual consciousness but actually admitted that for him, they were one in the same.
      Mostly Bible-based, but he was vastly read, Taoism, Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, friends with all, including Paramahansa Yogananda, who gave Joel the keys to his meditation chamber.
      Joel developed into quite a brilliant man who was uneducated beyond a certain basic level, yet attended Harvard classes on Sanskrit.
      He had a very dry wit, strong but extremely humble, knowing that all healing and spiritual realization is a gift of the Spirit.
      Never buying a book, his class lectures on RUclips are far more than you could cover in a lifetime.

      @@angeloiodice9304 Wow what a great introduction - definitely want to delve deeper. Its awesome he connected with Yogananda. I dont have any issue with Christian Science but can see why many do.
      When he became more advanced in his philosophy with the Infinite Way, am I correct in thinking he lost interest/dropped the importance, of things like manifestation/3D concerns, focusing more about developing union with God?

    I love his answer. As an intuit and psychic we have our own inner voice, in ‘a course of miracles’ they say Higher Self and Holy Spirit (voice are one) and then apon asking and through gifts or practice there are higher guides we can tap into. But absolutely if your insisting on answers anything could come in! Ego or less pure spirits aswell… but true Spirit is Silent (silence is golden!)

    In my experience the intuition is the body's intelligence expressing itself without a language. Yet, it is felt, heard and we all call it intuition.
    The gut is full of neurons. They form the hardware. The body's intelligence is the software. Both interact to help us make decisions. They are like signposts or signposts or compass.
    Animals cannot express as us. Yet they survive well. Its the body's algorithm which knows the answers.

      Intuition comes from the heart of God through the voice of God who is Holy Gohst or Holy Spirit. This Spirit goes through us as Souls and gives us knowledge or information that is important for us at a given moment. We, as Souls, send It to our external consciousness, humane consciousness as a feeling.
      Intuition tells us something that is important to us at that time, at that moment. It is not what we want for the benefit of our mind or passion, but for our spiritual development, for the progress of our consciousness - which is the purpose of our lives... Аt a given moment it is perhaps for our health, our choice of college , a spouse or buying a house, but all this is to secure our spiritual progress and not our wealth... The Voice can be with you all the time. The question is how much do you want that, how hard are you willing to work for that, and what are you willing to give up for that? Christian mystics often refer to it as "Christ dwelling within," and as Jesus said, "You can't put new wine in an old wineskin." How internally silent can you be, by default, as your normal mental state? How spontaneous can you be, by default, as your normal operating state, so that the Tao inside can merge and flow with the Tao outside, and harmony prevail?

      Very nicely stated.
      It is the still Presence, underneath conscious thought and words. It has many ways to ripple through to our conscious awareness.
      Sometimes it is just a wave of confidence with a few words of assurance. Enough to make you stop and consider “who said that; because it was not of the same quality of thinking or thought.”
      It comes through to you with absolute conviction, a message.
      One time in the Himalayas, I reached a crossroads in the mountains. But, it triggered in me that I met a crossroads in life. I was struggling under the weight of many hardships for many years
      It was an unbearable moment. I retreated and crouched in the fetal position under a rock, like a pitiful beaten creature.
      I concluded that life has dealt its final blow to me and I no longer can continue, and completely, painfully surrendered and experienced a scary void and emptiness.
      In that moment of emptiness, the presence of Jesus Christ emerged and instructed me. I knew His voice, yet I did not see Him, but there was a very palpable Presence.
      The voice specifically instructed me to get up and walk through the danger. The voice was too assured to not listen. You just listen, because the voice is so perfect and sure.
      And, all was well. After that, I just shook my head, mystified. It was shocking, because long ago I left being a devout Christian. I have been so eclectic in religion, I was in the mountains of Lord Shiva and with naked monks of every denomination and devotion. And, lo and behold, Jesus pops up.
      I smiled, I laughed, I cried, I shook my head again and again. And, finally, I looked at the spot where the voice came from, and pointed to it, and said “You are a good guy. I will just never forget you. You are just a really good guy.”
      I was so flabbergasted because He did not come as a Great Spirit, or a powerful Almighty God Being. No, not at all. He came as a friend, like an older brother. A friend who totally understands my predicament, like He has been there, too. Absolute Humility and Compassion, Love.
      Like, He has been waiting for me for a long long time to be so scared of my circumstances, that surrender was the only option, so I could finally see that The Presence is always with me, but I have always put up a wall to seeing It, a wall of my own effort, strength, intelligence, craftiness, cleverness.
      But, most of the time, it is not nearly so dramatic. It is just not being lead by my own understanding, but being open to the urges and guidance of Spirit.
      “Judge ye not according to appearances, but judge ye righteous judgment.”
      As Rupert keeps on reiterating, non duality, there is only One Consciousness.
      But, in this apparent world of multiplicity, that One Consciousness can appear to proceed from any and every Avenue. It is always the same One peering out through every form.

      @@angeloiodice9304 Thank you for the remarkable story from your life. Yes, it is an extraordinary example of how the Holy Spirit works with us, regardless of whether we are religious or not, regardless of whether we follow one religion or another.
      The Holy Spirit, if necessary, can take the form of any spiritual master to give us security and confidence at a given time.
      In return, I encourage you to continue your research and discover much deeper knowledge that will open your heart even more to God's great love for the Soul, what we are.

    This is also known as The Still Small Voice in the Bible. But, please do not confuse it, NECESSARILY, with the sometimes “psychic voice” of an intuit. This authentic VOICE can be found described in the Bible when Eli told the boy Samuel, who felt the Voice trying to come through, to empty himself and ready himself by saying “Speak, Lord, Thy Servant Heareth.”

    So if the voice is coming from a place of fear and panic it is the ego and if it is loving it is intuition? Would the intuitive feeling not to go ahead with a certain job come more as a 'maybe this isnt the best' ...whereas the ego is 'oh my gosh this feels like the wrong choice!)'

    • @halfacanuck
      @halfacanuck 2 года назад +2

      Anything coming from fear and panic is _definitely_ the ego, but I'd be cautious about saying "The Voice" must be something you recognize as "loving," exactly. If Rupert is correct that The Voice is a representative of an impersonal form of guidance (and I believe he is, though it can be personal too in my experience) then isn't it also egoic to think you'll always know what's loving and what isn't? I'd say perhaps a better differentiator is "fear/panic versus okayness/calmness/rightness."

    • @BorisAbrams
      @BorisAbrams 2 года назад

      @@halfacanuck i know this is right intuitively but I struggle when I am looking for an answer...i feel like the mind will inherently give you an answer. I am half way through A Course in Miracles and there have been many lessons in whcih you stop and listen and know an answer is coming (from the Holy Spirt to use the Courses' terminology). So in light of what you said, if you were wondering about a job and you didnt feel particularly calm/happy about taking it, it could be the voice saying not to? I.e. The potentially neutral absence of fear /panic?

    • @halfacanuck
      @halfacanuck 2 года назад +1

      @@BorisAbrams My advice is much along the lines of what you describe from A Course in Miracles: meditate for a while and let yourself settle; frame the proceedings not as "looking for an answer" but rather "observing that which enters your awareness"; and visualize yourself formally accepting the job, or going about your first day at the job, or whatever _non-verbal_ form most resonates with you; and observe what happens in your awareness. Is there a feeling of comfort and ease and rightness, or a feeling of discomfort or anxiety or doubt? Those words might not exactly capture what emerges, but you should be able to categorize it one way or the other. It should be clear, and if it isn't, try again later. Don't push too hard; just relax and visualize and see what comes!

    • @BorisAbrams
      @BorisAbrams 2 года назад +1

      @@halfacanuck Thanks for this! That's very interesting. I had not thought about this for an event/opportunity in ones potential current reality. In the Law of Attraction arena, when people visualize what it is they want (i.e. getting that job), it is the feelings of discomfort and doubt that need to be addressed (and subsequently released). Without this, it will be hard to manifest what you want (if one is a believer in this).

    • @halfacanuck
      @halfacanuck 2 года назад +1

      @@BorisAbrams Yes, it's sort of a dual-use tool! It can be used to "nudge reality," which is how I think about the Law of Attraction thing, by (as magicians say) focusing attention on an intention; and it can be used to receive guidance. It depends on what intention one has when one does it. The reason I suggest visualization rather than verbal thinking is because the latter can trigger the mind into an unhelpful intellectual-emotional response, whereas what one really wants to do is observe the changes from the mid-meditation neutral state to whatever comes up while visualizing. (That's why it's important to get to that neutral, quiet state first.)
      It gets easier with practice. My approach was to practice on seemingly trivial decisions, like "Should I order Chinese food or Indian?" I'd even go through each item on the menu and observe the response; and, you know, it quite quickly became obvious whether I was getting a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down.

      You know that a Psychologist has found something when he is awarded with a Nobel Prize in Economics.
      So we know that intuition is exposed to human beliefs and its heuristics rendering a really bad source for knowledge.
      Its was a good tool for fast decisions in nature but it constantly fails us when we deal with more complex knowledge claims about reality.
