    Congrats on the sponsored video! How time has flown since the final pass. My experience was very different from yours, with my own obstacles, but agree overall that it is one of my greatest accomplishments! 🎉

    Still in the middle of taking my exams with working full time for over the last year and half or so. But Heaven you have been huge inspiration and help with your videos throughout my CPA and now career journey of not even knowing if public accounting was right for me initially. Just wanted to give you a huge thank you for all your advice for the last few years.

    I used Becker for FAR and BEC. I had initially purchased Wiley but I kept failing BEC so decided to go a different route. All study preps are great, make sure to see if your job can cover some of the study prep cost. Also, I loved Ninja bc they had a lot of questions you could just practice right before exam days. Good luck everyone, it’s deff possible!

      The exams are intimidating!! But once you commit to studying, get into a routine and don’t let anything mess up that routine. Stick to it and you’ll get it done! Starting anything new is the hardest part.

    The comment about we are all paid the same couldn’t be more wrong. As a CPA I most definitely get paid more than others without a CPA and do the same work. My firm can bill more for a CPA than non CPA and in corporate industry there are certain positions that require a CPA so you have a ceiling if you don’t get it.

    • @HeavensAudventure
      @HeavensAudventure  3 месяца назад +5

      The person who asked that was saying specifically for government since we don’t have different billable rates and we all do the same job duties. But for public or industry, you’re absolutely right and it’s highly encouraged! Although in my experience at the State government level, it is highly encouraged too. But it varies from department to department and state to state due to budgetary constraints and agency needs.

    My job during close is ROUGH. Multiple 15-16 hour days, and then after I get though those 4-5 days I’m mentally drained and even when studying I catch myself having to rewind and rewatch because I zone out 😭

    Quick question-if I pass CPA from Connecticut state in that case can I apply for job in any other state of USA?
    Or is there any other exam required?

    • @HeavensAudventure
      @HeavensAudventure  29 дней назад

      if you get licensed in Connecticut, you are only a CPA in Connecticut but you can get your license transferred to other states if you meet the other state’s requirements. It just depends on the state!

    Hello Heaven, I'm waiting for my approval to sit for the exam, and I won't start my job until August. So I have most of the Summer to study for the exam, probably beginning with FAR first, how many hours a day (Sun-Sat) should I study?

    • @HeavensAudventure

      You’ll realize as you get going how many hours it will take you to study. It’s obviously different for every person, just like college haha

    • @HeavensAudventure
      @HeavensAudventure  2 месяца назад +2

      The CPA exam? It’ll probably feel worse than getting a masters degree haha but I think all 50 states do require 150 credits before sitting for the exam, which is the minimum hours required for a masters degree. So basically!

    Hi HeavensAudventure! Can you please tell me if there is truly a shortage in accounting (not just CPA's!)? Do you notice it where you work?

    • @HeavensAudventure
      @HeavensAudventure  Месяц назад +1

      Yes. We have struggled to find good, quality candidates in the last year or so. And some of our clients have had job postings up for over a year for accountant roles they haven’t been able to fill.
