Thanks so much Dylan! You definitely don’t need to spend a lot of money on gear, you can make a great video even with just your phone to start but be yourself and tell a great story about your flight to draw people in. The first 10 seconds, the thumbnail and the titles are the most important parts of your video. I have gained the most valuable knowledge from Muse Storytelling (they’re on RUclips) but you should definitely learn some fundamentals of filmmaking and how RUclips works first. I’ve been making a living with a camera for nearly 15 years but this channel is completely different than anything else I’ve done, so it’s been a fun challenge to make these videos and I’m still learning a lot.

Hmmm...I just flew Virgin Atlantic Economy classic from Los Angeles to London and it was the worst experience of my life. Why on earth have the seats recline in such a titchy space? The move was dreadful. The staff were so embarrassed by the guy in front of me literally trying to flatten his seat into my face by repeatedly heaving himself backwards that they let me sit in the crew seat at the back of the plane. I will not fly Virgin again for a long time. Horrible!!!
Although I have never really flown with Virgin Atlantic the impression I get of them is that they are a bit less formal than BA and a more relaxed attitude. But they fly to far fewer destinations in North America than BA, KLM, Lufthansa or Air France.
Virgin doesn't fly to Miami, but I see codeshares with KLM and Air France from 12,500 points several dates this month or you can fly Virgin from Orlando also for 12,500 points & $150. I'm searching on virginatlantic.com and if you do a flexible search it'll show which dates are available.
What is the personal item size/weight. On the website nothing specific. Last time , with nothing specific i was in big trouble with alitalia and turkish airlines
No, it felt like the typical 31”-32” seat pitch. The advantage with the Airbus vs Boeing is they’re typically about an inch wider in economy so they definitely feel more spacious.
I usually fly economy too, but domestic flights in the US are not all that exciting for RUclips. I usually save all my points for the good seats and film those flights.
Is this economy or premium economy please? As if this is basic economy and food is included as eell as a screen i have to say virgin is the best uk airline period! 😮
This is regular economy, I booked with miles so I got to select my seat for free. Food is always served in economy on flights across the Atlantic unless it’s a budget carrier. You’ll get a similar meal & IFE on Delta, United & AA as well.
Hope you have a great time, the later the better in my opinion unless you can catch the early morning flight. It is such a quick flight if you took one of the earlier flights you’d get there around 1 or 2am east coast time which is miserable. Happy travels! ✌️
It’s not very long, maybe 3 hours because of breakfast service which is worth sleeping through if possible. Perhaps even less on your flight given the late sunset time now, bring an eye mask & earplugs and enjoy your trip!
I bring a backpack & roller bag. The roller is carryon sized but I checked it on a few flights on this trip to make the filming easier, not sure if I did on this one.
For Christmas my family offered to purchase an economy seat for any European/Country... Thinking Sex Tourism might be the way to go since it on them. LOL
My favorite part of any flight is the take off. ALWAYS so much fun!

When I check the miles its much more than what you mentioned from MIA to LHR. 50k to 150k

They never weighed it like some other European airlines do, I brought a full size backpack loaded with stuff and a roller bag.
